I see that the LG EnV2 was roaming on another 1x network, is that Verizon still up or a small carrier?
4G and 5G are still up. But the two TracFone devices in this were actually on Verizon and the shutdown disabled its services.
But the LG enV2 is only on 1x network since its 3G network down, so yeah. Call will no longer works on the old-existing 1x network.
@@technologygamesandeas 1x along with 3G was actually shut down on Verizon. The EnV2 was connected to US Cellular CDMA because they don't have sound when calling from unactivated devices.
@@mobilephonesandtech Well before the 3G was shutdown, the LG enV2 would say "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. we're sorry we're currently unable to authenticate your phone. Please try your call again..."
I have a Samsung Galaxy Stellar which is 4g LTE non-VoLTE on Verizon prepaid unlimited. I lost talk and text but data still works. I only use the hotspot anyways. Can I continue using my cellphone as a hotspot and pay my monthly prepaid bill.
Or am I going to completely be cut off in February.
Is there a way to convince Verizon that I upgraded my device to a VoLTE capable device by changing the IMEI number and continue using my device as a hotspot. I do not have the ability to either upgrade my device or get a new sim.
My device uses LTE for net and CDMA for phone.
PLEASE HELP
I don't know if I can help you with that...
Hello! You can continue using your device as a hotspot on Verizon's LTE network, but calls (including 911) won't work after the CDMA network shutdown date.
