Maybe it’s just me, but it kind of feels like all the great preachers are coming to an end. There seems to be more fake and false preachers than ever. Men like Charles Stanley will be greatly missed.

My faith is stronger than ever,no longer do I have the desire to give up. I went through of life from the enemy even the COVID-19 pandemic because I was affected by it and God brought me through it, I have work to do thank you Father for saving me in Jesus Christ name Amen ♥️🙏

I am 69 yo I've listened to Dr. Stanley for close to 40 years. He helped me to find the right church, that is the most profound and impactful thing he has taught me. Jesus is my example, Dr. Stanley is my earthly teacher and I am so thankful for him. My pastor is the 2nd best earthly bible teacher I know, his delivery of the sermon, in quiet strength and Holy Spirit power, has great depth and truth because he is aligned with the Word of God and nothing else.
6-2024...I'm listening and this wonderful man is Still teaching me the most important beliefs, at 71 yrs old!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The Holy Spirit taught me that we were given a sound mind to make decisions and take the appropriate steps to put faith in action. When I admitted to God that my faith was weak, He did not bombard me with situations that would further discourage me. It was in little steps that my faith grew. Studying the Old Testament stories strengthens our belief in God's Loving Character and Power. 1 Kings 19-20 Elijah running in fear from Queen Jezebel's threat and how our Wonderful Father demonstrated His Agape Love that applies to all of us. Be Blessed.

My grandma loved Charles Stanley and went on many cruises with him..
There seems to be such interesting looking people in the sanctuary each Sunday.I wish I could have been there in person for one of his beautiful sermons
Was in town and able to attend a service 2 different years. Everyone was friendly and I always wished I lived closer than a day drive.

Ive always have faith in God. Strong faith. Never been an issue for me. But ive always been financially secure as well. So never had to test it. Circumstances have also made it so mulltiple people ive considered my good friends and reliable family over the years have abandoned me when i needed them most. God has shown me that money, and stability, and people, are not what will save me. He is the only one. Thank you God for this lesson. And please help me to focus on the important things thru this adversity.

As a child of parents who abanded me as a baby. I know God CAN help me. i strongly believe that but i dont believe he WANTS to help ME. I dont think i have to earn salvation I just struggle with unworthiness😢😢😢
I think he wants to and i see it often. I pray if its your will and If not that is ok. I will love you still. I dont expect miracles and actually I really have a hard time liking ME
God only gives the toughest battles to His strongest warriors. Never allow yourself to forget that!

We’re not robots, we rely on our senses. It’s easy to become discouraged when you observe with the your natural eye, how evil and corrupt this world is. You begin to question God and what the Bible says. I pray and pray, but God won’t deliver me from the simplest, no-brainer requests like freedom from addiction. That’s where I am, and I think millions of other Christian’s teetering and tottering in belief and disbelief. We read Gods promises, we confess our sins, we repent, we cut off bad relationships. I know merit gains me nothing. Sometimes I feel like Job, wishing I’d never been born

How do I have perfect faith that God will restore my marriage? I know without a doubt that He can do immeasurably more than I can imagine but the free will of my spouse doesn’t allow me to have complete faith that God will.
The issue isn't the focus on God during the fight between D and G, in my humble opinion. The issue is more along the lines of where was Jesus during that fight? Or even "who" was Jesus? And most notably, faith can be measured against one's yearning to know who He is today, and the openness to the learning that takes place during the quest to answer that question.
