You call it a funky ship but I really like those class of ships because they are all different from each other and not over crowded. My family did Icon of the Seas a few months ago and what a beautiful ship but it was just so so crowded with long lines everywhere.
I agree, plus I really enjoy the extra storage space in these Spirit class ships.. sailed on the Mardi Gras and the balcony room was narrow and not really enough storage for a family of 4. In fact it was hard to navigate some suitcases through the entry door and around the beds in order to unpack them.
I really like the older designs. It looks like this ship has been kept up very well. I love the cruise companies that still do towel animals. It's a special touch. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the tour of this beautiful ship. The design and layout are geared toward the comfort of the guests and not the revenue generating amenities that the newer ships are. The artwork is interesting and I appreciate the thought that was obviously put into the decor of the public spaces. Beautiful, beautiful ship.
Right, not a lover of the mega ships. Way too many people. We cruise for the ports & serenity of the ocean. Not interested in a theme park environment.
OMG you got a mermaid towel animal! 😍 I love all class ships, even the biggest. But there is something special that makes me absolutely love this class 🥰 Thank you for the updated tour!
The hot tub in the gym on this ship is my favorite out of all the ships I’ve been on. I went in there one night while everyone was at dinner and just laid back and watched the stars through the skylight.
You nailed Carnival in two words: gloriously gaudy. Reminds me of Vegas. My husband is an architect, and he remarked that they take it to the top and then go way over. He is not fan but he'll travel on one with family. Have you seen the Medea nightclub on Legend? This ship reminds me of that one. Safe journey home, Tony!
@@LaLidoLoca , oops, the night club is actually called Medusa's Lair, and it is wild. They told us in September it will be converted to a restaurant when Legend is drydocked because it's two levels so ton of square feet. It is out of this world. Hundreds of snakes. There are some UA-cam videos. Cheers!
We sailed on the Pride when it was only a couple years old. Your tour took me way back. It was great to see the look of that ship. That Renaissance thyme was wild. Loved that ship.
Love the smaller ships. This is a mirror of the Legend (sailed on about 7 times), so I'll feel right at home on the Pride. Thanks again for a wonderful tour. I'm ready to go! Happy cruising everyone!🛳❤
We have done 27 different classes of ships and the Spirit class is right up near the top with the Oasis class and the Pride is our favorite ship in that class. Very relaxing, been on her five times. Someday you will have to do a Journey cruise out of Baltimore, favorite port for us to cruise out of. Relaxing trip down the Chesapeake for approx 8 hrs.
Thanks Tony. Loved the tour of my loved Carnival Pride of Baltimore. The refurbishing and upgrades to Her are amazing, especially the main poor sit in bar stools and horseshoe tables. We will be back on her in 68 more days and hopefully our Baltimore Port (😢 prayers for those lost in that Horrific Accident and the loss of our Iconic FSK Bridge, Which I watched being built from 1972-1977, drove over her the very first week she opened, and cruised under her since 1989 😢). After 84 cruises all over the world, going back out of Our Loved Baltimore Cruise Terminal will be one of our most Emotional 😭 but first cruise without Celebrating just making it under that Bridge. Our group will be Raising our Glasses as we get to that point in Memory of those lost, and to the Beautiful Memories of Our Patriotic Bridge We Loved and Respected. ❤😢😊🚢🥂🍾🍻🥰🇺🇸❤️🦀🦀🦀🍸🍹🍷🛳️⛴️🚢🛟⚓️🤿
Been on The Pride a few times and had a blast each time. There is just something about smaller ships that we like. The entertainment lacked a tiny bit the last time but we still enjoyed our time. By the way the towel was a mermaid , lol
I live in Maryland and I have never cruised from The Port of Baltimore. I always depart from Florida. I know the Carnival Pride cruises from Balitmore. Thanks so much for sharing...I will give this ship a try!!! I like the fact that it isn't overcrowded. 😄
Tony I really love your ship tours 😍🚢 I really hope you continue to make these it's so helpful for people who don't know what's on the ship and they want to know before they book it. There's something really relaxing about you walking through too. So please keep making these! ❤
The size of this ship is very nice. I did the Icon and it was just so darn crowded and so expensive. I would not do a ship the size of Icon again, you never feel relaxed. The pride class of ships are nice to explore since they differ from each other and you can always find a seat or a quiet place to get away.
I have difficulty with too many colors, too much light, and too much sound, but each section individually, I can see that many spots are absolutely spectacular. They really did go all out for that ship. Two weeks on a cruise ship sounds like heaven!
Tony the place by the alchemy bar is a nite club. The Legend & the Pride built the same second pool that roof retracts. Love both ship. I took my journey cruises on those a lot of fun. Those senior citizens, gamblers know how to party 🎉🎉🎉😊
I appreciate these tours so much. I’ve cruise a decent amount but you can’t be on all the ships so it’s educational to see what other cruise lines and ships have to offer. This was very thorough.
Thanks for the tour! We cruised on the Carnival Pride back in 2019 and I can see some changes that were made from 5 years ago. That was our 1st cruise and we had a great time. My next cruise was in 2023 on the Carnival Legend. Both were were ported in Baltimore where we boarded. I heard that it was overseas for a while but thought I heard you mention that it was headed into Norfolk. I assumed you were talking about Virginia. Thanks again for the tour where our maiden voyage took place!
What a wonderful walk down memory lane. Thank You!! I was on the Pride for 14 days in the Northern Sea in August of 2021 when she sailed out of Dover, England. She was my first Carnival Cruise Line experience. The elegance and beauty of the design are truly breath taking. I am going to find a way to book a cruise on her again.
I’ve never ever considered cruising on a Carnival ship.. but this Ship is absolutely a piece of art!! I would consider this particular Carnival ship as an Option.. Thank you Tony!! This is the very first Carnival VLOG I’ve watched that I actually stopped and went Wow!!
I always think that any cruise is a good cruise, whatever the ship☺️ That said, I love the Pride/Legend layout in all it’s gaudy gloriousness☺️ Glad you enjoyed your journeys cruise! We are getting ready for our TA from Fort Lauderdale to the Netherlands on the Zuiderdam🎉🎉🎉
Wow! EXCELLENT coverage on this tour. Thank you so much, Tony. I didn't realize this was such a long trip for you, 2+ weeks. I know you must have missed the lovely JENNY B!
Great tour. Baltimore is so happy to have her back. Climbing aboard in 11 more days 🎉❤😊❤🏝️🏖️⛱️🛳️⚓️🛟🎰🎤🎧🎼🤿🧉🍹🍸🥃🍾🥂🍷🍻🌊☂️🌦️🌤️🌞🌸🌺🪸🐚🌴. We were on her going under the Francis Scott Key Bridge 2 weeks before the bridge Collapsed. I have been cruising from Baltimore since cruise ships started cruising from Baltimore (long time). I watched the bridge be built in 72-77 , drove over it the first week it opened in 77 , cruised under her about 50 times and now at my 85th cruise since 1985 it will be a first not seeing our ship going under Our Bridge. I’m sure the emotions will be flowing as we all sail through the Baltimore Harbour for the first time without our Historic Bridge to Cheer us onward into the Chesapeake Bay then onto the Atlantic Ocean 😢. Prayers for those lost in that horrific accident and for their families ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you for the tour Tony! pretty awesome ship, there's a lot packed into the different levels, I've never been on a cruise ship before so this was a real treat! I've really enjoyed your daily videos and it's been great tagging along on your adventure! Keep up the great work!❤👍😊
Hello from Prince Edward Island. I enjoyed this ship tour so much. In October 2022 I joined a group of extended family and friends on my first and only cruise, which was on The Carnival Pride. It was a 10 day sail out of Rome that included Santorini and Ephesus and many other stops. You showed us areas on the ship that I didn’t see, along with many favourites. Our table in the beautiful main dining room was at the stern and we had many amazing sail always as we enjoyed our delicious evening meals. Thanks again for this wonderful tour. It was this cruise that brought me to your channel. Take care.
Love the Pride. Generally I really like the Spirit class ships. When they are full it never feels as busy as some of the newer larger ships. Miracle and Pride have some interesting decor as well. But I really like all the spirit class ships.
We got on the Pride the 21st, the day you disembarked, and boy, the weather, those first two days was hectic. In the 50's and rainy all day. I love the Pride...that was my 2nd cruise on her. Wonderful video Tony!
Really enjoyed cruising on Carnival Pride. This was a last minute and my first solo cruise in '22 to Costa Rica, Panama-Partial Transit and Costa Maya. Really enjoyed it! The Carnival Pride is really a Beautiful ship with a Awesome staff. Everyone was so helpful. Felt very relaxed 😊
I love the older ships. They actually have more storage places than some of the new ships. We use a card with a magnetic strip that isn't a credit card for the safe. I love the hidden hallway on the Pride and the Spirit.
Hi Tony. Thank you for the tour. It's been a minute since I was on the Pride. Lot's of memories from that ship. A few changes but basically the same. It is very different regarding the decor. Saw that lightning, pretty cool! As always thank you for all you do. I'm sure Jenny was happy to get you back home. ❤
Hi Tony, We took this ship to the western Caribbean in 2003 with our family. Loving the renovations. Reliving our favorite areas on the ship as you feature the tour. We really like this size ship. Hope to cruise her again someday. Thank you!
Great ship tour! The older ships are interesting. Never sailed on the Pride but have on the Legend about 10 years ago. Right now I prefer the newer/larger ships but could see going on another one this size in the future.
Pride was my daughter's first cruise. Now she's graduating high school. So glad we got our Pride back. Love this ship! David's steakhouse was great the last time we ceuised on her. My daughter celebrated her 7th and 10th birthdays there. She still talks about those mashed potatoes 😂.
We were on the Spirit a few months ago and it was beautiful as well. Everything was ornate and there was artistic detail everywhere you looked. Loved the extra public spaces and seating areas too. Great class of ships!
We’ve been on the legend 3 times, never on the pride, but being that we live in the DMV we will probably be on the pride at some point, we have the spirit booked for Alaska next August, that will be our 1st time in Alaska and on the spirit, thanks again 👍🏿
A good ol' Spirit Class ship! Nice! Very cool decor! The Sunset Garden on the Pride is just like the Jungle Room on the Carnival Spirit, very cool 'get away from everything' place!! Thanks for taking us around the ship!
Tony, that was a great ship tour. We'll be on Pride for the first time in November for a Journey's cruise to the Southern Caribbean. We were on Legend last year for a similar cruise & the ships are almost identical. But it was so nice to watch this video to see what the differences are. Thanks for this, a fantastic job You definitely got your steps in on this cruise!!!
Dear tony, We love your videos. My kid has some questions for you to prepare for our carnoval pride vacation later this year. 1. Have you seen a chocolate fountain while onboard? 2. Do they sell lego sets in the fun shops onboard? He loves lego's too. 3. What has been your favorite food while onboard?
The ship has some strange mixture of art but all in all if I was on a cruise I don’t care what design elements there are mostly. I do like all the seating areas and the beautiful dining areas for sure. Its not the worst one! Thank you
You call it a funky ship but I really like those class of ships because they are all different from each other and not over crowded. My family did Icon of the Seas a few months ago and what a beautiful ship but it was just so so crowded with long lines everywhere.
Couldn't agree more.
My very first cruise was on the Ecstasy, just after I retired in 2021, and I done 3, and this video has me wanting to do this cruise 🛳!!
I agree. Older ships IMHO are going to be more and more appreciated.
Right, not a lover of the mega ships. Way too many people. We cruise for the ports & serenity of the ocean. Not interested in a theme park environment.
I agree. I prefer the smaller ships. I don’t have to be constantly entertained.
Noticed you are breathing much better after long walks and multiple stairs.
😊
OMG you got a mermaid towel animal! 😍 I love all class ships, even the biggest. But there is something special that makes me absolutely love this class 🥰 Thank you for the updated tour!
The hot tub in the gym on this ship is my favorite out of all the ships I’ve been on. I went in there one night while everyone was at dinner and just laid back and watched the stars through the skylight.
112 days and we will be sailing her for 1st time on her...I'M SO EXCITED!!!
I haven’t wanted to cruise a specific cruise ship as much as this after seeing the decor. This is why I fell in love with cruising.
You nailed Carnival in two words: gloriously gaudy. Reminds me of Vegas. My husband is an architect, and he remarked that they take it to the top and then go way over. Yeah nightclub is very cool complete with 70s style light up dance floor steps are a bit rough in there after a few drinks lol
Is it John Wayne toilet paper? -- It's rough! It's tough! And it doesn't take crap from anybody!😀
We sailed on the Pride when it was only a couple years old. Your tour took me way back. It was great to see the look of that ship. That Renaissance thyme was wild. Loved that ship.
Thanks, Tony! You’re always awesome and relevant!
I love the Pride
Yes, it’s a small ship, but it’s beautiful and well laid out

The steakhouse used to be "David's Supper Club" and there was a statue of David. We were on Pride in 2006. Great ship
I love sea days ❤❤
Thank you for sharing all your adventures with us! 🤗
Looks like a ship I would enjoy!
Awesome tour!!! My wife and I want to do this cruise 🛳!! This has been a blast to watch. Thank you, Sir, for doing all of this!!!
Back in 2019, we celebrated our 30th anniversary on the pride..It’s still a beautiful ship!!!
Great tour - makes me want to give it a try! Thanks.

I'm so glad you're covering this ship, particularly the balcony rooms! Fingers crossed, I'll be on for my bday this year!🎉
Thanks for the tour Tony, it reminded us of what a great ship it is, the decor sort of takes you back in time.
The thing that struck me about the ship is how dark it is. It is definitely gaudy!
Its a beautiful ship
Wow! EXCELLENT coverage on this tour. Thank you so much, Tony. I didn't realize this was such a long trip for you, 2+ weeks. I know you must have missed the lovely JENNY B!
Loved the Legend, so I KNOW I'm gonna love this too. Thanks for the tour. We will be on the Pride later this year.
If this ship was a house for sale, someone would put it on Zillow Gone Wild. 😂 Definitely over the top.
Thank you for showing this! I’ll be on this ship in October and we’re renewing our vows on her next year, very excited 💜
going on this ship in a month and a half of my third cruise, thanks for the upload, was excited to see a recent tour
My husband and I got married on the pride. I adore that ship! Wonderful tour.
Nothing beats a Guy’s burger and the toppings bar. Gelato for dessert.
This a great ship tour❤ I am going on the Miracle in August. I hope it has a fun decor too.

Tremendous tour. Thanks so much 😂😅😊❤.
I like that ship. Thank you for the tour
Went on a back to back last summer in this ship. Norway and the Baltic Sea. Thanks! Relived our beautiful trip.
Love the pride and all the art!
I just saw this video. This one and its sister ship the legend are my 2 favorite ships. Been on them many times going out of Baltimore.
Love the Pride. Generally I really like the Spirit class ships. When they are full it never feels as busy as some of the newer larger ships.
Miracle and Pride have some interesting decor as well. But I really like all the spirit class ships.

I love how there is music from Rocky IV playing in the background while you're in the Casino.
We are boarding on May 5! Thanks for the tour!
beautiful and reminded me of the miracle
We leave next July on the Pride from Baltimore! Bermuda, here we come!! 🇧🇲🌴🌊🐠❤🎉🛳️🌞

We have been on the Pride 3 times and her sister ship the Legend 3 times also. We also did the Miracle once. We really enjoy the Spirit class.
Great ship tour! The older ships are interesting. Never sailed on the Pride but have on the Legend about 10 years ago. Right now I prefer the newer/larger ships but could see going on another one this size in the future.
I sailed on Pride 10 years ago - and am booked to sail on her again in a few months - thanks for giving me this advance look on what I will find
Oh wow - there are SO MANY touches on this ship that remind me of the Costa fleet - even the stateroom corridors look the same as Costa!
We were on the Spirit a few months ago and it was beautiful as well. Everything was ornate and there was artistic detail everywhere you looked. Loved the extra public spaces and seating areas too. Great class of ships!
I love the Pride..
Shhh, on the secret spot..😊
Going on Pride in July. Thanks for the tour☺️☺️
Garden is the same as the Jungle on the Spirit, good place to hunt ducks!
We’ve been on the legend 3 times, never on the pride, but being that we live in the DMV we will probably be on the pride at some point, we have the spirit booked for Alaska next August, that will be our 1st time in Alaska and on the spirit, thanks again 👍🏿
Been on both several times same layout but pride is nicer and pizza is way better
A good ol' Spirit Class ship! Nice! Very cool decor! The Sunset Garden on the Pride is just like the Jungle Room on the Carnival Spirit, very cool 'get away from everything' place!! Thanks for taking us around the ship!
Love Love the Pride! We recently sailed on her and went through the Panama Canal
For the safes that require a card to slide, we bring 2 identical cards from our land based casino. Works great. 😁
Hi Tony! Thanks for all the videos from the 14 day cruise ! Has a great time and was glad to meet you! Michelle S 😊
Went on the Carnival Pride back in May 2003 - always remember that trip!
Thanks for the tour. I’m so excited to get on the Pride in January. We had booked back in 2021 but it was canceled due to the pandemic. 😊
Dear tony,
We love your videos. My kid has some questions for you to prepare for our carnoval pride vacation later this year.
1. Have you seen a chocolate fountain while onboard?
2. Do they sell lego sets in the fun shops onboard? He loves lego's too.
3. What has been your favorite food while onboard?
I didn’t see a fountain. No official LEGO but some knock off. My favorite meal was the lobster and shrimp on throwback elegant night.
Thank you for the answers. You just made my sons day.
Lobster is small but wonderful
What a beautiful older ship. Thanks for posting a ship that's going to the scrap yard soon. I have seen ships newer in the scrap yard.
Thanks Tony for the tour it was Amazing 🙏❤️
Headed on the Pride for my 3rd time. This will be a history making moment. Great tour
It was so nice chatting with you on this cruise! We enjoyed Pride - some of the decor is a bit ummm provocative 😂
Will be going on first cruise in a week on the pride to bahamas thank you for this guide of the pride
I appreciate the ship tour. Between you Don and Doug Parker of cruise radio.Any time I go on a ship i feel like I already know it
Great tour! I think I would enjoy this ship...
The ship has some strange mixture of art but all in all if I was on a cruise I don’t care what design elements there are mostly. I do like all the seating areas and the beautiful dining areas for sure. Its not the worst one! Thank you
We enjoyed the band Alter Edem on the legend journey cruise to Greenland, thanks for the tour 👍🏿
