    Almost half century of life and never seen or heard or read or learned at school or at least by TV documentaries about iridishent clouds.
    At once it seems the most natural thing in the world.

      Almost 60 yrs, and never saw these "oil slick/rainbow clouds" until recent years. And like you, never heard or read about them either.
      I wonder what explanation we will be given for the new "pulsating electrical clouds" ?

      Yeah it's all weather modification bullshit oh, I can't believe how many adults it has been successfully programmed and we'll actually tell me they've seen these as children. I'm 31 and I can remember natural storm systems and a yellow sun not a white LED bulb in the sky. Was truly frightening is that they are teaching children this, they told me there were three types of clouds I think they're up to like 18 now

    I am amazed but the plain pearl colored fluffy clouds alone. How much more if it's multicolored! WOW!

    Yes, seen it only recently here in Melbourne, understood it, took pictures. Done. :) At first, I did not trust my eyes and asked my much better half to confirm which she did. A few years ago I also bought a glass prism on eBay, just to see in real life the sunlight being split up into its rainbow "Newtonian" components. The colours are just beautiful.
    What is also interesting is that cumulus clouds evidently peak your solar panel output power by creating additional "reflected" sun radiation hitting your panels in addition to the direct sun radiation. If you have access to the output power graph of your system, you can see this happening in the form of peaks in your power output graph on a day with scattered cumulus clouds (a day with partial cloud cover).

      Cumulus clouds peaking solar panel power output = interesting indeed. Thanks for your comment @faustdownunder. DanB

      @@abcaustralia Thanks Dan. I have some graphs I prepared from data downloaded from my solar inverter. Clear correlation between output power peak and presence of cumulus clouds. The phenomenon of having a direct path of radiation and an indirect path is well known in other fields, like for example in radio wave propagation.

      @@abcaustralia The clouds at 1:11 to 1:13 or actually not iridescence but is rather sun dogs being caused by refraction of ICE CRYSTALS in the atmosphere

    • @AEpicHuman
      @AEpicHuman 2 роки тому

      @@abcaustralia You would be able to tell that it was iridescent because of their pastel colors while sun dogs or circumhorizontal arc would have solid rainbow colors

    Great, informative video... But many of the images are of parhelia (sun dogs) as opposed to iridescence. The information, however is solid. :)
