Long time simmer here! You cracked the joke about the drug dealing expansion early in the video. I would invite you to explore the world of Custom Content. Seriously, it opens up the world to a lot of cool possibilities. For starters, you need Basemental's Drug Mod and MC Command Center. Pretty much everyone has Basemental and absolutely everyone has MC Command Center. MC gives you control over things that you normally wouldn't be able to access and well, Basemental is pretty self explanatory. Next up, I would suggest either Extreme Violence for the hilarious kill counts that happen or the Book of Chaos from the same creator. As for bug fixes, there are plenty of mods that fix the plethora of bugs and glitches. I would highly suggest looking up Little Miss Sam for her bug fixes. Hope this helps!
I've been playing for years. In terms of DLC, you're probably best off aiming for Expansion packs first, over Game packs, Stuff packs, or Kits. I would also wait for a sale, especially for DLC you aren't 100% interested in. Also, keep an eye out for whenever kits or stuff packs are available for free. Here's a break-down: The expansions add the most, particularly in terms of actual game play, and usually also come with expansive new worlds (the exception being Seasons, which massively overhauled existing worlds). The most recommended ones would probably be Seasons, Cats & Dogs, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch, and Growing Together, since the things they add are most likely to effect your typical experience. Expansions are all pretty solid, though, so, apart from some being buggier than others. Game packs add more niche gameplay, such as the ability to become a tomb raider, vampire, or the hero of a town. Quite a few also add new, smaller sized worlds. The most recommended ones to get are Vampires, Werewolves, Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, and Parenthood. Those are the ones that add supernatural life-states, the cool tomb raiding stuff, and the family stuff. For the most part, game packs are solid, but there are quite a few that are "controversial" purchases. Those are My Wedding Stories (it's probably the buggiest pack), Journey to Batuu (Star Wars promotion), Dine Out (still buggy), and StrangerVillle (linear storyline based on Stranger Things). Stuff packs add some gameplay, but are mostly cosmetics (stuff like new clothes or new chairs). The most recommended ones are Tiny Living, Home Chef Hustle, Crystal Creations, and Vintage Glamor. There are more "controversial" or "bad" Stuff packs. Those include Moschino (unwanted high end fashion brand collaboration), Perfect Patio (pointless), Luxury Party (also pointless), and My First Pet Stuff (half the content is locked if you don't also own Cats & Dogs). Kits are almost exclusively cosmetics, either focused on Build/Buy or Create-A-Sim (CAS). The only exception is Bust the Dust, which didn't go over well with the community and was very buggy when it came out. Kits have had more controversial launches than not, are known to be wildly overpriced, and generally receive "meh" reviews in the long run. As for recommendations, I would probably focus more on the Build/Buy kits, especially ones that add random clutter, and only get the CAS kits when they go for free. The only kit I genuinely wouldn't recommend is Carnival Streetwear, since I strongly dislike it on principal (it was a collab with a specific artist/influencer, and the outfits are specifically made to reflect their personal style, but it was marketed as a "cultural" DLC that represented Brazil and Carnival as a whole).
Jumping between aspirations and buying alot of the perks in the aspiration shop makes this way easier, especailly the no sleep or eat perks, takes a bit to get about three full aspiration paths, painting, writing and the bodybuiler aspirations make it easiest to get
if you have mood arts (like the focused work you sold from the observatory) you can click on them to enable their emotional auras then they'll give you a moodlet of that type whenever youre in that room (i recommend having one inspired work and one focused work in your computer room, and then switching them on or off based on the skill you want to advance)
As someone who used to live in a shoebox flat with two other people, this DLC baffled me to no end. Hey, you maybe have enough space to walk to your bunk-bed, and toilets and showers are communal in another building = superpowers.

As a Simmer, I'm impressed. I love your tenacity in nailing the skills! It's too easy to drift off into mundane gameplay and forget to focus on the skills. I recommend Tiny Living for its lot perks, Seasons for Patchy(to help with gardening), Island Living, Eco Lifestyle, honestly, any of them that interest you as long as you get them on a good sale!
Snap dragons and strawberries. When you get to high enough gardening skill you can take a cut from snapdragon plant. Then you can splice it into the strawberry plant and make dragon fruit. Then plant dragon fruit and with like 6 plants you will make good money
A challenge like this is made MUCH easier with the Get Together expansion. Clubs have the "Rally The Troops" interaction, which means your Sim never needs to sleep. If you create a club immediately and focus on club interactions, you can get that on day 1. There are also ways to change your Sim's mood and increase skill gain. If you work it right, I expect you could complete this challenge in just 50 days with that. I'm not sure if you took them, but the Early Bird and Night Owl traits also help a lot with skill gains. And since you're doing Mixology anyway, by joining the Culinary -> Mixology career, there's an opportunity (at Career level 9) to buy the Snaggle Fuster recipe. That's awesome because it boosts skill gains by an incredible amount for the 3 hours it's active. Another way to make money quickly and get fast satisfaction points is to complete the Soulmate aspiration. Going on dates can cost nothing and give you a reward you can sell for good money. If your partner is in the right mood, the date itself won't take long to get to gold level either.
Wait, what about the photography skill? If you select the phone next to the amount of money you have you have the action to take a photo which unlocks the photography skill that can be maxed out at level ten. Why has no one mentioned this?
Photography is maxed at level 5 so it's unique. Technically he still has 4 days and it'd take less than a day to take a couple photos to max it out. I totally didn't even notice he didn't do the photography skill though😭

I have it bc I LOVE pirating shit, unless it's from small indie developers who put their heart and soul into a game. Companies: PIRATE. Indie developers: PIRATE then when you have enough money, support them and buy it!
So for expansions i think it really depends what you want to play. Do you like Vampires/Wizards/...? Do you want to do like a family legacy challenge? Do you want to have many new skills and careers? But in general, theres a James Turner Video on what his community voted as the best and worse expansions The Sims 4 has, so feel free to look at that for a general idea :) Also, I know that wouldnt at all be possible for a single video (maybe with only basegame), but i started a challenge a while ago, where i want to complete every skill, every career, every aspiration, get every bonus reward trait, finish all university degrees and get all Milestones (the last two are only with expansions though). That is very fun but it takes ages😂
Your advice about learning an instrument is much the same I feel about learning a language! I think it’s the fact that if you stick with it you can literally experience your progress; i.e you get proof you’re improving when you can understand/read/talk better and with instruments the proof is hearing yourself play. There’s no better feeling than going to practice and you’re ready to be disappointed but all of a sudden there’s a big change/improvement that’s impossible to ignore!
the brief side quest that was skillius getting abducted by aliens and then giving birth to an alien baby only to send the baby back was something i did not see coming from this video
In case you didn't know or it wasn't obvious, you can run on a treadmill to unfat your Sims, and it levels up the athletic skill at the same time. Edit: Looks like you didn't need my advice after all. 😂
For game play expansions, I highly recommend Seasons, Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, and if you want your sims to have children Growing Together adds a lot. Living off the land with Cottage living is more fun, especially if you also have Eco Lifestyle because that lets you live off the grid and make your own power
The Sulani expansion with the mermaids is my favourite :D I know it's not exactly as dense as it should be, but you could say that of all of TS4's expansions.
I think it just comes with the territory of the content style. 100 days etc is kind of like the shorts of gaming content. Most people I assume just remember a game or find a new one they are interested in, and want to see that played, they want to watch a complete series but not invest in something that’s 30 minutes an episode for 100 episodes, these types of videos are a really good in between for being interested in a game and being dedicated to a playthrough. So they look to the videos for content, not the creators themselves
It’s refreshing to watch someone who hasn’t sunk an ungodly amount of hours into the sims play it! Watching someone discover different things about gameplay and items is nice.
Possible challenge See how much money you can make in 100 days Would recommend the Get To Work DLC since it adds more money making avenues, such as owning a retail store.
I’m a dirty sims min-maxer and there are so many ways to optimize this challenge. For one, there are very simple actions you can do to get moodlets that buff skill gain. If you have that moodlet and a bunch of other happy moodlets, you can become very focused for example, boosting focused skill gain even more. focusing logic is easiest and boosts skill gain even more. You can swap between all of the aspirations to collect points in order to get the savant, day person and night person perks to maximize skill gain. From there you would save up aspiration points to get the one where your sim no longer has to sleep. Completing the artist aspiration allows you to make paintings that alter moods, so that would be good to do early as well. Gonna have to try this soon.
YOur alien baby!!!!! That was so cool and unexpected! In honor of that I believe you should do a 100 baby challenge or something similar because i think it would be fun!!!!!
If you paint using the digital sketchpad, there's an upgrade that allows you to finish a painting significantly faster than on an easle (And you can take it everywhere!)
While this doesn't work for all skills, if you go into cas and set all skills to "liked" they'll grow faster, and you can gain fun while working on them as well!
As someone with 1000+ hours in the Sims this is kind of like watching a child learn to spell. Not how I do it anymore, but I get how you got there and am happy to see you explore things that are normal to me by now Edit: Just to clarify, this is supposed to be a compliment. I should really take some notes and unlearn the grindset of doing everything "the optimal way"
this is a very interesting challenge I'm thinking of dumping a big investment on the Sims 4 and get me many expansions, and just have fun. Maybe do some of these challenges. I'll keep this one in mind It's very similar to something I did with my own Sim back in the Sims 2 and tried in the Sims 3: to max out all skills/hobbies/collectables
Don't you dare! Look up sims 4 cracked, you can get the base game and all dlc's for free, my sister showed it to me a bit ago and it's awesome to play with all the packs [withought spending 1 grand on it]
At the risk of feeling like you're doing the same exact, you could buy the Tiny Living pack to get the tiny home lot trait that, if you do some strategic trait and mood planning, can level creative and music skills in a sim day or two. That idea might be best reserved to if/when you buy all the other packs that add skills and make a comparison video to this one.
Here is a tip: become a fashion designer because you can work from home. You do still have to show up every once in a while to get a promotion, though. But you can work on other things.
I'd love to see this as a running series with every expansion pack you buy that adds new skills, considering the total number of skills as of this comment is about 50.
Baking isn't a base game skill, so you kinda didn't need to do that, you just clearly have the Get To Work expansion pack. But omg I was laughing so much when you got abducted and pregnant 😂😂 Gold.
I’m not sure how I would have it. I got the sims 4 for free when it went f2p on steam, unless it was included in the free package? Not sure though. Either way thanks for pointing that out and saving me 40$! 🙏
@@ThatGuyPredz Hmm, weird. Because you definitely have it, aliens come with the pack as well, you couldn't have them either without it. But anyway, glad I could help!
Man I want you to do this with every dlc and the camera skill too because this was FUCKING AWESOME DUDE!!!!! Edit: first of since it’s nearly $1000 dollars it might take a while, second off, you could do it for like 200 days
I love that all of simmers come out of the woodwork to give advice I was even going to give advice about working out at the gym and watching TV at the same time builds two skills at the same time
also, you can click the little box thingy (briefcase?) next to your sim's face at the bottom of the screen while at work to "work hard" and you should be able to get promoted basically daily
Fun fact, if you have the Basketball hoop (I think in city living pack) If you keep on spamming the Dream Big choice, your fitness will fly up like a rocket. It is without a doubt the fastest way to get max fitness.
I don't have much to add other than if you had the Tiny Living stuff pack, you could grind out your abilities 2x as fast due to the micro home trait you can give to your house
all the dlc is mostly worth it except my pets stuff that only adds hamsters but requires the actual pets expansion to still work, get to work is the toppest of top tier expansions and adds 3 jobs you can actually follow your sim to
You can actually gain charisma really quickly by throwing parties. You can also add lot traits to your house in build mode, some of which also help with skill gain. Also baking comes with Get to Work so I would say it wasn't necessary to complete that skill in this video.
If you ever do this again, I highly recommend playing with seasons installed. You can play on a day called "new skill day" and crank out a lot of exp in new skills that day.
you playing sims makes my heart so happy, i watched your 1000 days vids in PZ & you made me fall in LOVE with that game. so it’s nice to see you play a game i already love, imo i think that it’d be fun for you to get get to work, get famous, cats & dogs (your guy deserves a little companionship 🫶🏻) , werewolves (i LOVE werewolves- it has a special place in my heart) really - anything occult in the sims is fun! i wouldn’t touch my wedding stories with a 10ft pole or dine out UNLESS you have mods! which if you’re interested in, the mods community on the sims is VERY generous basemental mods is one of my favs- adds very interesting aspects 😅 anyways! happy simming & i’d love to see you play more 🫶🏻
Hey hey! I have SO much to say about the sims 4. What /kind/ of gameplay are you into? I think the supernatural expansions are great, but you might like more realistic ones. Assuming you already have GET TO WORK, I would definitely get Strangerville next. It's an odd one, taking place somewhere near Nevada or Arizona. It would go well with Aliens, Mad Scientists, and causing chaos. There's so many cool mods that use Strangerville as a base too! Like zombie apocalypses using the infected townies! ALSO, you can try out the challenges! See if you could beat the 1 MILLION Simoleon challenge in 100 days or less! Great video though! Welcome to the SIMS 4 community!
I would like to say if it hasn't been said already... if you don't have any other emotion based buffs active, having earbuds (which I believe are basegame) and use them to play focused music ( which I think isn't in the base game but I don't remember which pack it comes in) makes you focused... So that eliminates having to run back to do some chess all the time.
For charisma i have noticed that throwing parties is actually a decent way to level it. Im 100% it isn't the fastest way, but it is the least boring way since you dont have to working on it during the party but after the party you get a ton of experience and can jump a level or 2 as a result.
It's been months or even years since the last time I play The Sims 4. But you might have just inspired me to pick it up again. This challenge looks like something I'd love to hate.
with handiness level 9 you can make your computer run faster when playing games and increase the effectiveness of hacking, so that's one of the first skill any player should build first, since it also help other skills (like logic, by upgrading the telescope or microscope) that skill can make you shower, sleep and clean less often, so it translate into more hours to max skills in the long run
fav expacks are cats and horses. I'd say see if u can steal every pet, but u'd need a mod to expand ur household. (ask to move in and move their animals to ur household and leave, lol)
Early in the video you mentioned pushing p, there's a mod for that! I would definitely watch you push some positivity for a video 😂 basemental's mod would be perfect
Brother, I’m begging you to continue grinding the rest of the aspirations, visit the secret sims world, and/or figure out how to stop your sim from aging.
Oh you'd have a *great* time doing the SuperSim challenge! It really forces you to get... acquainted with the game. And some of the expansions make it a truly. special experience
I challenge you to complete one aspiration in each section and get all skills maxed. I have been passively doing this challenge myself with my immortal wearwolf sim. She is currently working on a wearwolf skill that won't end.
I love playing sims with a goal sims 4 is so boring compared to the previous ones so I had to do this same thing to get the platinum PlayStation trophy its was fun tho 😂
Useful fact- having a higher Logic skill means that all other skills will level a little faster; so try and max that first!
Oh wow i did not know that!!

I had no idea alien abductions could happen in the base game?! I thought it was a Get to Work thing
The sims dlc is the most insane and greedy thing I’ve ever seen in my 25 years of gaming, I think pirating the game with all DLCS might be the move.
I love mediocre commentary and outdated dad jokes! Sign me up!
gotta love how skillius went from boba fett to paul blart in less than 50 days
For game play expansions, I highly recommend Seasons, Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, and if you want your sims to have children Growing Together adds a lot. Living off the land with Cottage living is more fun, especially if you also have Eco Lifestyle because that lets you live off the grid and make your own power
The Sulani expansion with the mermaids is my favourite :D
I know it's not exactly as dense as it should be, but you could say that of all of TS4's expansions.
yeah idk why you dont have more subs i love your zomboid and other content i enjoy goofy sims stuff and some kenshi etc.....
It’s the way the algorithm pushes him to people who watch similar content
I think it just comes with the territory of the content style. 100 days etc is kind of like the shorts of gaming content. Most people I assume just remember a game or find a new one they are interested in, and want to see that played, they want to watch a complete series but not invest in something that’s 30 minutes an episode for 100 episodes, these types of videos are a really good in between for being interested in a game and being dedicated to a playthrough. So they look to the videos for content, not the creators themselves
Next time I think you should look into lot traits as you can build skills way faster with them and make money from the prairie grass lot challenge
This is pure dedication that challenge is hard maxing out 4 or 5 skills is already a lot
Focus on painting early on. You can paint art that has mood boosters to help level skills faster
It’s refreshing to watch someone who hasn’t sunk an ungodly amount of hours into the sims play it! Watching someone discover different things about gameplay and items is nice.
Possible challenge
See how much money you can make in 100 days
Would recommend the Get To Work DLC since it adds more money making avenues, such as owning a retail store.
I freaking love videos like this. It scratches my neurodiverse brain
me: *staring intensely at the "poorly decorated" debuff* hope you figure that out soon bestie ❤
This was the first video I've watched of you and I stuck around all the way to the end of the vid. Great video man keep up the good work :P
Not how I do it anymore, but I get how you got there and am happy to see you explore things that are normal to me by now
Edit: Just to clarify, this is supposed to be a compliment. I should really take some notes and unlearn the grindset of doing everything "the optimal way"
this is a very interesting challenge
I'm thinking of dumping a big investment on the Sims 4 and get me many expansions, and just have fun. Maybe do some of these challenges. I'll keep this one in mind
It's very similar to something I did with my own Sim back in the Sims 2 and tried in the Sims 3: to max out all skills/hobbies/collectables
Don't you dare! Look up sims 4 cracked, you can get the base game and all dlc's for free, my sister showed it to me a bit ago and it's awesome to play with all the packs [withought spending 1 grand on it]
If you want them to level up careers faster pick work hard on the little briefcase on your sim. 😅
Try the supersim challenge with rags to riches extreme version challenge with your narration and sick editing youd make a masterpiece brotherman
Man I want you to do this with every dlc and the camera skill too because this was FUCKING AWESOME DUDE!!!!!
Edit: first of since it’s nearly $1000 dollars it might take a while, second off, you could do it for like 200 days
I really didn’t think he’d make it in the first half but he got all the way to the end and early too
I love that all of simmers come out of the woodwork to give advice I was even going to give advice about working out at the gym and watching TV at the same time builds two skills at the same time
also, you can click the little box thingy (briefcase?) next to your sim's face at the bottom of the screen while at work to "work hard" and you should be able to get promoted basically daily
fun fact- i can barly keep my first sim alive or awake with a level 7 gutare skill
Fun fact, if you have the Basketball hoop (I think in city living pack) If you keep on spamming the Dream Big choice, your fitness will fly up like a rocket. It is without a doubt the fastest way to get max fitness.
cottage living is far and away my favorite expansion pack! the evil chickens alone make my day every time
13:34 as an autistic person this was the funniest thing ive seen all day
I don't have much to add other than if you had the Tiny Living stuff pack, you could grind out your abilities 2x as fast due to the micro home trait you can give to your house
all the dlc is mostly worth it except my pets stuff that only adds hamsters but requires the actual pets expansion to still work, get to work is the toppest of top tier expansions and adds 3 jobs you can actually follow your sim to
You can actually gain charisma really quickly by throwing parties. You can also add lot traits to your house in build mode, some of which also help with skill gain. Also baking comes with Get to Work so I would say it wasn't necessary to complete that skill in this video.
You missed photography! It's a base game skill, although it's enhanced by Moschino stuff and City Living.
3:14 Among us😂
If you ever do this again, I highly recommend playing with seasons installed.
This was hilarious and the first hour-long video I accidentally watched all the way through without realizing how long it was.
That was fun to watch, would love to see skillius again!
your sim videos are so entertaining thanks for making such great content !
This challenge looks like something I'd love to hate.
with handiness level 9 you can make your computer run faster when playing games and increase the effectiveness of hacking, so that's one of the first skill any player should build first, since it also help other skills (like logic, by upgrading the telescope or microscope)
that skill can make you shower, sleep and clean less often, so it translate into more hours to max skills in the long run
Day 101 -200 collect ALL collections 😮
fav expacks are cats and horses. I'd say see if u can steal every pet, but u'd need a mod to expand ur household. (ask to move in and move their animals to ur household and leave, lol)
or pull a LGIO and open a "vet clinic," and just "forget" to return other sims' pets :P
if you become max lvl tech guru, you can binge research and it will boost up all your skills at the same time
Early in the video you mentioned pushing p, there's a mod for that! I would definitely watch you push some positivity for a video 😂 basemental's mod would be perfect
I love the content man keep it up and never stop
The vampires or magic expansion is an amazing expansion that adds alot of content, those would be some i would recommend first
I'm only at the intro, but the Sims 2 music already makes me love this video
Brother, I’m begging you to continue grinding the rest of the aspirations, visit the secret sims world, and/or figure out how to stop your sim from aging.
i started doing this challenge, and it has made me love the sims again.
Oh you'd have a *great* time doing the SuperSim challenge! It really forces you to get... acquainted with the game.
And some of the expansions make it a truly. special experience
I think a part two with all the dlc skills would be fun
Unfortunately all the expansions are stupid expensive, but if you did decide to get one the wizard one is kinda neat
this video is brilliant, so glad i found your channel :)
Rainfurrest is a convention that would be confused if he showed up there unless he had a tail and ears on the helmet lmao .
It’s more efficient to have the perfect kid and max the skills of the kid because he will gain skill level so much faster
I challenge you to complete one aspiration in each section and get all skills maxed. I have been passively doing this challenge myself with my immortal wearwolf sim. She is currently working on a wearwolf skill that won't end.
"if you eat high quality meal, gives you very inspired. just like inspired but.. very." 😂😂
The college expansion woudl definitely be awesome to see! I used to play that one and the work expansions so I say check those out!
SIMS 2 CASTAWAY I had that one for the wii, to this day still one of my favorite video games ever
I love playing sims with a goal sims 4 is so boring compared to the previous ones so I had to do this same thing to get the platinum PlayStation trophy its was fun tho 😂
skankhunt69 is an amazing reference btw!
55:00 that joke didn't age well jsdjjsjfjsjfjs
"F-ing nerds" -The Cosplayer
oh my god the bogboy reference with "skillius maximus" if thats what u were unless i watched too much bogboy spore
been here since before the infamous 1000 days in project zombiod!
SIMS CASTAWAYS MENTION 🍾🥂🎉
Looks like the frogs are breeding in his pockets, just don’t look down there 😂
