I love the "honestly" girl.
I liked the video.
@Lazy Greek Stereotype Or rather Spanish, because of the lilt she has when talking and all that.
They walk around in shorts and a T-shirt as soon as temperatures are higher than 10° Celsius. ;)
That's a good one! Exactly my thought every second day since I've moved to England. 😂
In Michigan we walk around in t shifts when it’s 30 degrees or above (0 Celsius) 😂 it doesn’t get super cold in England either unlike North America
?! No we don’t, has to be above 18c for me to consider wearing a t shirt
Talking about the weather!
Very true - pretty much every greeting includes something about the weather in it.
Say sorry when it’s unnecessary, then next shot him saying “say it again sorry” 😂 2:17
Boy dwi Pinosa I didn’t even realise I’d done this 🤦🏻♂️
Their politeness
The biggest out there
Yes! And the culture of driving
@@kazbi Yes, and that includes needless use of mobility buggies.
Eating fried eggs and bacon for breakfast 🍳, taking an umbrella everywhere 🌂 and the English humour typified by Mr Bean 🕴
Saying "sorry"...a lot. I just love them!
We are happy more to back your a new episode thank you for givingof the constans
Love this video!

English with 외국언니 ahh thanks so much for your support
too short for me :/ I could watch for hours :D So nice to listen to this beautiful everyday English and being able to understand (while reading) Honestly awesome :D
❤️
Could you understand them speaking if had no a transcription?
Well done
Wooow.. I’m learning English and I really love this channel .. you have very good,
Funny and interesting episodes .!
Great job! I am always watching these videos and it is helping to learn English. A cup of tea is a good stereotype for English people's.
Love this vedio.great effort 👌
Terrific work pals
I like your videos, thank you so much ❤
2.26 IS A VERY TRUE AND MOST ACCURET for a English stereo type. SHE IS THE MOST INTELLIGENT ENGLISH AND RESPECTED BY ME FOR TO DESCRIBE IT 100%
Your English sense of humour is the best in the world- I spent years in England so I know :) And yes, "Let's have a lovely cup of tea" seems to be the solution to all problems :)
I think they're highly polite. Sometimes, when I walked on the roundabout ever there people said "I beg your pardon" or the other one I love is "honestly".
Hi,I m new lerner.thankyou for the video.
This question was asked in a recent Easy German episode and was misinterpreted. I thought it was because the concept isn't directly translated by the words. I feel that many speakers in this video misinterpreted it too. The concept of 'guitly pleasure' has more to do with embarrassment than guilt i.e. what do you do / like at is so embarrassing that you don't want to admit it (you feel 'guilty' because it's a secret) It's often something that other people would laugh at you for doing / liking.
Welcoming, politeness, seriousness, hospitality
Great videos
Brazilian here.
I was taught by British Teachers only and I don't feel guilty for saying "I'm sorry."
It is a lot more natural in comparison to the Brazilian Portuguese Language.
Here we use "Sorry, my bad." , same as you, when we didn't mean to be mean, not meant to hurt anyone but somehow you find out you screwed up.
That's normal, at least in my view.
Never met a British person I didn't like a lot.
You are truly special people.
Sometimes it almost seems like British people are sorry for their own existence, if know what I mean.
If that's the case, STOP.
Go look at yourself in the mirror, realize you are from one of the greatest people in the world.
Stylish, you do look stuck up, but you're not. You are warm people, perhaps more introverted than most people, but is that an issue? No it isn't .
You enjoy preserving your individuality, nothing wrong with it.
Land of the greatest writers, poets, etc
Chin up, beat on your chest.
Be proud of because GOD delivered to Parents this amazing human being YOU.
A cup of teat is the one for sure!
always say sorry...
next scene then the woman : always say honestly, sorry sorry
...
I don’t really associate politeness as an English stereotype. I think stereotypes have changed a lot over the years.
They always say "honestly but never honest" its a good one)
The lady at 2:20 is spot on not only from the perspective of a foreigner observing the English (as well as the British in general), but also from that of a person with a similar disposition. Humor isn't merely a defense, but also an effective weapon against the forces of misery.
Drinking Tea, especially as remedy against upsetting events.
And getting very very drunk as the idea of having a nice time in the weekend.
Talking about the weather typically English? Ever been to the Netherlands?
Last week 96% of my conversations started with the weather. And 60% ended there.😁
Was this filmed around North Laine, Brighton?
I'm Latino, and for some reason I always say sorry"(perdón), I can't avoid it(in both languages).
Has the bowler hat and pin-striped suit type disappeared from England?
1:24 What a beautiful accent!!!
@Arableciderboy but this guy has really a good accent, actually the worst accent and voice is at 3:03, just very annoying lol 😅 but in a general way my preferred accents are from there Uk and from Africa, the worst are from Australia and I'm not deaf ok.
omg I knew it...Brighton. I really love the south seaside, i really miss these streets. I remember now the big giant seagulls 🥰
Having a cuppa😂
English have a great accent, fancy!
agree
A cup Of Tea ! kkkkkk
Fish and chips and tea is definitely what I have heard the most.
more videos pleaaasee :C
Salomón Díaz at the moment we will be producing 1 every month, but eventually this number will increase......thanks for your support!
Have never heard the skinheads stereotype or the politeness one.
What 'Stella or K' is? (00:36)
Weather?
This bloke is always in Brighton and never ventured further to the other corners of the English domain
Yeah, Get a room!
Whats " Cup of tea " mean ?
for me, English Stereotypes are the heavy metal godfathers (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and many other English music inventors)
That's a fact not a stereotype.
Uh,it's 4 o'clock time to drink cup of tea and spread butter on slice of bread, gentlmen's
The English accent I couldn't learn🙁
I learned an American accent English instead.
Me too
They always ask "How are you?" every time we come across and it makes me doing effort to arrange sentence to answer, and it turns out they don't really expect me to answer their "how are you?".
and their "alright" thing
1)Great sense of humour... They have the ability to laughter at themselves.. At least thats the way it used to be..
Now days folks are so oversensitive
2) opening sentence is "weather"
3) fish n chips
4)cuppa tea with scones..
"Asteruix in England " said it best
Skinheads witch cup of tea!
People around the world often say about famous English humour, that they have a great sense of humor. And another one is that probably for American people English is associated with evil heroes or bad guys, I can assume that from the movies they make, but I must notice that these heroes are always very charismatic smart and attractive😉
I am from Việt Nam
only positive stereotypes, i'm sure ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)
Is there a American version of these videos ??
I should say the best English stereotype is eccentrism. Typical one. ;-)
Crazy about football
Stella or K - what's that?
Oi bruv, you talking to me, lad? You talkin’ to me? God bless our queen, bruv.
I already speak English, I'm just here for the British accent
Which accent? Britain is three countries and probably about 50 main accents.
An english stereotype is Liverpool is great football team.
Another one is rest of the world is driving in the wrong lane.
"I think it's very difficult to stereotype someone in England"...says the British guy wearing a khaki trench coat wrapped in a Burberry scarf, ending his sentences in "innit?"
Hi, there's a spelling mistake at 2:51 with "simultaneously". Sorry, I speak English at C1/C2, but just stumbled across this video, and maybe some learner may read this and avoid this mistake.
Please, give me a hand, what do Stella and K mean?
hello school!
An English stereotype? Of course, "Received Pronunciation" or RP! What else?
English stereotypes seem to have lots in common with Japanese stereotypes. Bad teeth, overly polite and apologetic, love for fish (fish & chips/sushi) and tea/matcha, bizarre sense of humor, not to mention so many eerie parallels. Both island nations, have a royal family, drive on the left side of the road, drive vintage taxis, are good at queuing, had a feudal system (knights/samurais/castles), a colonial past, complicated relationships with their neighbors (bullied angry drunk neighbor to their west (Korea & Ireland), and cocky powerful neighbor in the mainland (China & France) who significantly influenced their high culture (Chinese & French literally make up a huge chunk of academic Japanese and English vocabulary). Both raided by badass warriors (Vikings and Mongols), love rock music and curry, need their alcohol to say what they truly feel, and today are the second-largest economy in their continents. Also, very weird sense of fashion. People either dress too properly or modestly, or have a very quirky, bizarre sense of fashion.
British, English= football :) I'm from Hungary.
Sorry ! Try to understand your accent but thank you
U speak American right
English is another thing
First comment.. Sixth liker..
Sorry, I didn’t realize this was your country. Right, well I’ve already planted my flag, so it is ours now. God save the Queen and all you know. Could you fetch me a cup of tea?
Yes well, at least the British didn't insist that everyone be shut up in their houses on a bogus pretext during the Empire days.
What I hear bad teeth, strong, warriors,
English stereotype No.1 - Complains about "Broken Britain", then votes for Tories for 20 years.
If your alternative is to vote for Labour Party, then everything is clear there.
Being arrogant and looking down at engineers.
I guess I don't associate being overly sorry with the British, I see it as more of a Canadian thing!
But politeness is so much associated with Brittain like
Can you tell where the _____ is please ,
Oh sorry ,it's there on the _____
This is British
I don't know much about Canada but my impression is that you're right. It is still an English thing to say 'sorry' when someone bumps into you. Of course, not everyone does it, and whether it's really 'politeness' is another matter.
Saying please and sorry far too much is a very British thing - it’s almost compulsive for Brits.
I heard some things about English people and in the most times is that English people are very polite, or very arrogant sometimes, that they have bad teeth... honestly I don't usually hear so much bad things about English people.
Here someone speaks Russian?
Otter enter the chat
Let's say they're not the best tourists lol. I still like them though.
bottle of water
Bad weather, boring food. One can find more interesting and fancier cuisine nowadays in UK thanks foreign imports.
English stereotype?
They speak English with Strange Accents.
the biggest is the myth about the diversity of society, which is only in London, and beyond the skinhead
Britain is very diverse in most of it’s cities and towns (take a look at Manchester or Birmingham) - not so much in the countryside.
English stereo type is also say after ever ANSWER HE/SHE ASK : OH, BRILLIANT ! OK IT'S BRILLIANT, OH, THE ANSWER IS BRILLIANT, GOOD IT'S BRILLIANT...
HOW DO YOU FEEL? BRILLIANT ! HOW WAS YOUR DAY? BRILLIANT !
EVER SINGLE WORLD THE WHOLE DAY IS :BRILLIANT!
No straight guy answered?
Stiff upper lip
Sorry, I don't want to offend anyone, but the guy at 3:03 has the worst accent and voice I've ever heard, just very annoying 😨
bad food
english stereotypes - bad teeth
They get angry fast
Ibrahim F07 No we f#%king don’t! Sorry, too tempting not to.
Mitchell Hargreaves Lol calm down mate ;)
