The check-raise into check-raise from Bill was beautiful. That was the perfect play in my opinion. Continue to feign weakness and then jump on Garrett when he is in a position in which he feels he MUST call. And in Garrett’s defense, I think everyone would call there.

    • @nicolasd2079

A top pair top kicker isn't the best hand against a player that 3-bet call with this board. Bill has every set possible, every two pair and every straight. Bill check raised him two times it's just suicide to call even the odds are good

@@nicolasd2079 Definitely agree. Calling there thinking you are still good is pure bluff catcher, potential chop. I have never seen a double check raise not have it. Funny I see newbies getting the cards fall absolutely perfect for them, and hear how awesome they are at poker. It's easy to look skilled with good run,and calling stations. @EVERY DAY GRIND and what if there was a 6-bet jam? what then? he's only down $4k pre-flop and even though we can see the 2 villain's cards, in his mind, one of them at least has Aces. If Garrett and Bill had a much smaller stack, then I can see a flop. But not when they're that deep and he's up that much. It's a situation where he could've gone either way and most people would be fine with whatever he chose to do considering the circumstances.

I agree here, he's only in $3500 at that point with the other big stack re-raising and another re-raise, you have to believe someone has Aces. Sure they could both be sitting on QQ or AK but every time I push in that position, someone typically has the goods. If he was feeling frisky a re-raise to $100K would've been epic.

Andy is OOP and his range is capped
Calling and playing 2 more streets will be very difficult for him against Bill who is actually a craft player and with such a connected board
High probability that Andy could be on a 2 outer or needs runner runner
Just about half the cards in the deck are bad cards for Andy to see on the turn and River.
Also, if let’s say Bill is only on draw misses and jams on the river (which he is capable to doing) Andy will have a very difficult decision given how deep they are
