Hi Yvette! Really great to meet you at the stitch on Saturday! What a fun weekend! Your catwalk looked so great and how lovely to do it with your mum! That fabric is just 😍😍😍 ~~Rachael
Gorgeous fabrics, they all really suit you. I saw you at the show on Thursday and wanted to say hello as I had on a Peony dress too but you looked super busy so didn’t want to disturb you.
Love the idea of swishy palazzo pants in the multicoloured fabric. I had a similar experience with a Patterns for Pirates Everyday Elegance top. I’m fairly new to sewing so wondered if it was just me but there was also a pattern piece missing and I couldn’t get the collar piece to fit around the neck, even after shortening the piece. Needless to say I didn’t finish making it 😞
@@blossomsandwich4232 for the missing pattern piece it turned out there were measurements given in a different part of the instructions so I was meant to draw it myself. But it took about half an hour of hunting and head scratching to work that out!
I made a bunch of P4P and their sister site’s patterns when I started sewing. They are hit or miss, wearable but not the best drafted. They mainly focus on knits so there isn’t a major focus on fit. I realized that I would rather spend money on better drafted patterns that aren’t being churned out so quickly.
Interestingly, the owners of patterns for pirates and made for mermaids are sisters. I found the instructions and illustrations for M4M awful and one of the pattern pieces was wrong. Similar style photos to P4P, really hard to see and using printed fabrics. I think Love Notions do a henley tshirt and Lifting Needles has a fantastic youtube tutorial which saved me x

Lovely to see you there, hope you had a great time at the show! Doing the catwalk was my mum's idea in the first place 😂
Love Notions Docklands Tee and Seamwork have a similar men’s top pattern.
Thanks! Lots of suggestions for the Love Notions pattern so I might have to try that at some point. Looks like it has more options too which is good.
The A line dress you made for your mother is beautiful.😊. You're Jerzy, knit top is beautiful too.❤
Thank you 😁
Great Catwalk! The Love Notions Henley is a great pattern - excellent drafting and their channel has sew alongs to assist with the placket x
Ah perfect thanks! Will look it up ☺️
I use the Thread Theory Strathcona Henley for my husband and he loves all the versions I have made.
Awesome! This was my first choice of pattern before I got swayed by the cheap price of the P4P one...looks like I got what I paid for 😅
Love Notions has Dockside Men’s Henley & Polo, I have been using their women's pattern and enjoyed them
I haven't tried a Love Notions pattern yet so will have to give them a go!
Great Catwalk - the Liberty fabric is gorgeous
Thanks 🤩
You and your Mum, both looked so lovely on the catwalk, and well done making 2 amazing dresses.
Thank you! 😊 it was a mission but I was so pleased with how they turned out in the end!
A successful show for you! Love your makes and purchases. I’m on a bit of a turquiose and green theme at the moment too - such beautiful colours.
Thanks, I had such a great time at the show! Awesome, we can twin in turquoise! Just love how fresh it is, so ready for the sun to come out now!
Those fabrics are gorgeous ❤
Thank you 😍
Really enjoyed your vlog. ❤
Yay thanks for watching ❤️

The show was surprisingly busy on Thursday, wasn't it! Hope you had a fab time 😁
I love the fabrics you bought. I’m coming to London in autumn too!
Oooh yay, hopefully see you there!

Me too, just need the sun to come out! Pattern pieces missing suggests they haven't had their patterns tested 😕

Yes, that makes total sense, quality over quantity!
