This is a great tutorial. I've watched many of stuff like this before, but they go to fast and the results are terrible. I recommend this because its fun and easy, and results come out beautiful.

For the octopus, use two pipe cleaners for the legs, and cut them in half.
You cam also take the octopus design, and turn it into a hermit crab. Squish the body into a seashell shape (oval), and take the two front arms, and roll them up into circles, then squish the ends into points for claws. Point the other legs towards the rear of the shell to make it look like the crab is walking. I did not try to create eye stalks, but you could probably just use two legs in front curled up higher than the claws. This is a lot of typing, but the process took like thirty seconds.
Another little detail for the shell would be to wrap two different colored pipe cleaners together to create a striped pattern.

Omg I tried the cat out and I thought I didn't have enough pipe cleaner but in the end it was soooooooooooooooo cute! Thank you sooo much the only thing i'd recomend is to glue on the face.
