The columnar forms at the greek section are wrong
Thanks for your comment! What's wrong about them Maria?
@@ExplainersEnigmaNothing is wrong with. They’re messing with you.
@@LadyHeathen82 Thanks Mylady

Why use a photo of the vandalized Brandenburg gate? 🤔
Where's that? Sorry, didn't know that was in a vandalized state there 🤔
@@ExplainersEnigma (My only criticism, though.) Great video! Very informative while super concise. Definitely a need for concise here on UA-cam IMO :D Wailri's dislike being neither valid or invalid, using lavish structures of elites is, at the very least, a trade-off. If I had to guess, that creative choice had everything to do with the fact that the examples are well known. Using something (most likely) familiar increases the likelihood that the new info will stick.
@@DeadeyeDaily Spot on, that was the intent yes. Thanks for your feedback Deadeye!
I understand that these catagorizations are the accepted norm in acedemia, but regardless of the Western centric aspect which I understand although should be pointed out. I dislike how this division focuses on lavish estates and structures of the elites rather than what most people lived in.
Very fair point Wailri, I tried to cover just the general "themes" of the different styles.
@@ExplainersEnigma great video
@@OctavianAsix glad you like it Octavian!
wheres early period east asian (japanese/chinese/korean/etc) styles? or medieval? or the dense impoverished slums that you can find in different parts of the middle east and india that have a distinct style? or american dream style? or the modern neon-littered cluttered style of modern asian mega cities? or moroccan? or adobe/pueblo style of the S.W. U.S.? or old norse viking architecture? or the collegiate architecture that is seen in many of the ivy-league colleges (and some non-ivy) across the U.S. and likely some colleges in europe? or even the wooden saloons that define old western towns?
the video is fine but this is clearly not _all_ architecture styles, which i why we clicked the video. title is misleading and should be changed.
You're 💯 right. We needed to exclude some styles, otherwise the video would've been too long to fit the format. We tried to cover a lot but it's impossible to show them all separately. Thanks for your feedback!
just western styles?...... i was waiting for more than specfic stuff like asian styles or the designs seeing on indigenus cultures of the americas, i feel like an idiot clicking videos where dont even try to elavorate further
Hey Sonicswife I'm sorry we didn't cover all styles, it's tricky to fit them all in this kinda video. Hope you still enjoyed it. We tried to focus on the "main" styles that you find in the academic literature.
academic? that sounds like institutional bias to me
Yes, you're an idiot, and not for clicking this video
@@sonicswife bruh change the literature then and make the "specific stuff" more known.🤣🤣
