Solar's story is one of a kind, she is one of the few idols that supported herself financially and mentally without any support from parent or friends. She had to work multiple part time job and paid with her own money to go to vocal academy and do auditions. Other idols have it nice and get parents support, motivation and financial support as well that's why you can see trainees in one company for more than 10 years. Solar is the definition of a real idol in my eyes for her perseverance alone, but combined with her talents and skills, she is the true idol to its core.

The 17 year old and 21 year old is still young, they have a lot of time even if they fail. Solar debut at 24 (korean age), she had to watch her friends get stable work while she pursued an idol career, her advice come from the heart and her history. Proud of MY SINGER SOLAR
She is the perfect idol to invite here, she experienced both struggles of her parents not supporting her and having to work from the bottom to the top. Solar is really amazing person and rare success story in industry. I think about university student Yongsun working and living very poorly just to become a singer and then having to suddenly become the leader to a small sized company group, she really suffered so much and had so much pressure to this day, people still send hate to her, she suffered so much😭
They really needed someone who really understood their emotions and feelings that they are facing and happy that MAMAMOO Solar was there for both of them. Hardwork definitely pays off guys. We all should have motivation and dedication like MAMAMOO. Proud to be a Moomoo
Besides being really good at giving advice, I feel one of Solar-nim's strengths is knowing when to ask questions and giving people the opportunity to talk. Sometimes when someone is facing difficulty, more than advice, having someone who understands the struggle, is genuinely interested in what one has to say is more comforting. This has been one of my dream contents since the time she mentored the Moo Moo at her home and the time she gave advice to a group for the tea brand. Solar-nim, despite being direct and logical, really empathizes well. It is really cool to see her boosting the confidence of these girls, giving them gentle guidance and moral support. Mamamoo was about to be disbanded even before they made their debut, they debuted under the unknown company and during the time their CEO went around to promote them he were looked down so many times even after mamamoo debut people don't even looked their way and keep looking down at them even after years in the industry. But they just keep going and going becoming each other strength in struggling time. The skills and talent they had are too big to be ignore and really thankful they didn't give up because now I can keep being their fan

I feel like i can recognize iconic voices or voices i listen a lot to even without seeing that person… I always wonder how a supposed fan of an artist doesn’t recognize their idol’s voice, either they’re being polite to keep the facade or really oblivious. Coz i can chuck it up to maybe they sound like someone else when talking or dolphin laughing, but the minute she sang? I would be mouthing “SHE IS SOLAR OF MAMAMOO KIM YONGSUN RIGHT!?!?!”

She listened to these rookies very carefully and gently shared her own experience to encourage them as a senior but also a rookie from MAMAMOO+. Even though I am not a Moomoo, Solar is a massive inspiration to me. The fact she debuted at 24, after numerous financial struggles and hardships, really is a magnificent feat that she has to be proud of. This has been one of my dream contents since the time she mentored the Moo Moo at her home and the time she gave advice to a group for the tea brand. Solar-nim, despite being direct and logical, really empathizes well. It is really cool to see her boosting the confidence of these girls, giving them gentle guidance and moral support. Even more than being a good senior in the industry, Kim YongSun-nim is a really good person.
