Thank you all very much for the positive feedback on this. I'm still very grateful to hear these comments so many years later on a project for which I was a part. As to your question, Seenbelow Official, I write for orchestra and electronic music currently but still of course play guitar in various styles. I don't rule out playing and recording in this style again if the opportunity at hand calls for it. This music fit what I was doing with Sindrome at that time and place. "Victiminpain69" thanks for that!
I love both demos. A pity you never released a "real" album.
Greetings from Germany.
over 30 years and 4,000 cd's collected , this band is in my top 5 of my collection. A masterpiece .
Just to clarify a point(even though this is ooooold) Rob Welsh (me) wrote about 80% of the material on this demo, usually with Troy next to me in my bedroom while living with him at his parents house in Highland Park near Chicago. That is an absolute fact. Im credited as "guitars recorded by" but wanted make it a little clearer for anyone interested in this work. As for as recording, I played all guitar and ALL bass parts in the studio except on track that Mick played.
Awesome stuff, man \m/
And Rob, are going to do some more music like this? it's pure gold and this style is so rarely found in music even across a 30 year span
It still holds up well after all these years Rob!
The booklets and eventually online sources should be totally precise on who did what. It matters to the fans that are interested and I am interested in the guitars of this album. Decent playing and thanks for the information Robert.
Robert M Welsh get Sindrome back again. Shaun Glass is in facebook / IG too. This demo simply rules bitd and til today!
Century Media will release Sindrome - "Resurrection - The Complete Collection" CD/LP on March 4 2016.
Mind-warping solos, crushing riffs and Arch-villain vocals! I always come back to these two demos.
Most competent and well produced demo I ever bought and the music sound as fresh as ever.
AMAZING! THANKS!!
great work
This is absolutely incredible! If this only had the level of publicity that it deserved back then!
Just ordered the "Resurrection" set. Cannot wait to receive it and listen to both demos in pristine CD quality.
Great quality
I just checked and it's up on Spotify! I had no idea.
I had to have Sindrome because one of the guys from Death Angel had a Halls T on in a Metal Hammer mag. Wasn't until I found VOIC on wild rags that I finally got to hear this amazing band. I wore that fucker out in like a month, couidn't stop listening to it!
Awesome riffs.
fucking awesome and great sound for that time better sound that many band this days ...
fucking holy shit!!! man!!!! is great work, awesome band, its a level work cinyc, atheist, death, pestilence, coroner, nocturnus, fucking shit man.....
+Gonzalez Martin Ariel the guitar shred parts is very really similar to nocturnus.
Awesome US band w/ Troy the MASTER of vocalist
Thrash 'til the vaults of good times and perfect inspiration of godly sound at each instrument in
Wow. Great production for a demo and savage musicianship. Crying shame they never got the kudos and success they deserved.
So good.
Fucking amazing i love it!
I can't believe it's now almost 30 years since I ordered this tape! I loved it and still have it. Unfortunately tapes don't last forever and I cannot listen to it anymore. Still, I'm not throwing it away. And I bought the Resurrection-vinyl a few years back. That one will surely last longer than the tape. Thrash metal was my favorite genre back in the days and I still like all that early stuff.
Superbe!!....
This is quite deadly.
Awesome
increibleee !!!!,salutes from Chile!!!

Здорово👍
Puré fkn metal, great músic
hell yes - METAL on
Kick-Ass
I saw Mick Vega before. I was at summer vacation then.
this has an amazing sound for a demo..!! i think the vocals fit the music pretty good.. why this band didnt make it is far beyond me though.
They an offer to sign but they rather decided to wait for a better proposal that never showed up. Also they always had several line-up changes that might have not helped the continuation of writing new songs.
nasty savage vibes
really, rob damn dude. ill never forget the first time we sat at my friends house and he played this record. He told me that "the band" didnt want to release this as vinyl. is that true? cheers
Total musicianship, total ownage ! Though the vox are not my style ...
This is pretty decent sacred reich vibe and rigor mortis
Not sure I agree with that rigor mortis was first and imo original
Will they do an album and when?
+)))
great guitars leads dont like too much the vocals
The sound of the instruments reminds me Metallica`s And Justice for All ! Great record!!! Fuckin` thrash metal! Congratulations to the band!!
