I want to know if you if you submit that you intend to stay for a week can you extend that ?

Usually the visa is up to 6 months
So even if you submit for a week, you might be considered more considering the documents you submitted too

If you are not staying more than 6 months, you don’t need TB certificate.

@@gistwithJemima a place I can stay, like hotel, if a friend offers me a place to stay do they needs his or her account statement, that's one big problem now, I'm the one sponsoring my self but my friend offers his place for me to stay during the time I'm staying, do i need to also put their Bank statements or it's just they address I need to put as place I'm staying if i don't wanna book a hotel

You need to book accommodation before applying
If you want to stay at your friends, you need to show his tenancy contract and his bank statement to be on the safe side
