    I love that Andy and Patrick always give Alex Smith his flowers when the conversation comes up. He was a great heaven send for us in a time where we werent sure if Andy was even gonna be good for us. Miss him every year. Hope he comes back as a coach some time.

    Andy's redemption arc after being exiled from Philly is such a great story muddied with crazies screaming, "RIGGED! FAKE!" Garrett Reid would be so proud of his dad.

    When we traded Smith I was pissed. He got us our first playoff win since 1993. A wildcard victory over Houston and I was happy with that. Why would you trade a starting QB who won us a playoff game for some no name rookie from Texas Teach? Just unbelievable how our luck has turned as Chiefs fans.

    • @mattcarberry368
      @mattcarberry368 7 днів тому +14

      almost as if that wasn't "luck" at all, but a well calculated move made out of foresight with a big picture plan in mind 🤷‍♂as opposed to a team like Buffalo who needed a QB way worse than the Chiefs did at the time, owning the Mahomes pick and having it in their fingertips but deciding "nah we're good, KC can come get him, we'll roll with Nathan Peterman for now"
      that entire organization from the top down has literally just been smarter than everyone else for years, and it shows

      If they had put Pat in that playoff game he might have had 8 AFC championship games in a row instead of 7.

      Mahomes was far from a no-name. I kinda felt like you. But after so many times, not able to break through. I was excited about the change. It's absolutely insane how it worked out.

    Thank you to the Eagles players for saying the Chiefs defense won’t be able to stop them. Might just be the catalyst to make the Chiefs D play at a more inspired level than they would have.

      @@muchomacho9961 Remember all the Eagles players talking before the SB two years ago? Remember the Ravens talking last year before the AFC Championship?
      I think it’s great that they are talking - it means they are not doing other things - like mentally preparing. I was really glad they had a blowout game in the NFC Championship- I knew that they would be overconfident before the SB which I think is a good thing for Chiefs Kingdom.

    You can tell Andy is not all that happy talking to Rich Eisen today with all referee calls Eisen had added on to the internet after the Texans game. Rich trying to back pedal since the AFC Championship is funny and ridiculous - to me - he lost a lot of credibility- not as much as Adam Schefter but enough. Gossiping like a middle schooler about rules and adding on to the idiocy of the Chiefs hate doesn’t look good on him.

    ThreeChief aside, let's face it, KC can't beat the Eagles. Philly can score at will and no matter the blitz package, Hurts will run out of it. Hurts is a faster, healthier (ankles), younger version of Mahomes. Maybe not a match on the intensity meter cuz 15 wants to win like his family's been kidnapped and winning is the only way to bring them home. Barkley is actually a bonus for Philly. He's the, "oh yeah" on top of an already great Philly's offense. Eagles are peaking at just the right time. Say what you want about the Commanders but that team makes adjustments and they got blown out. There's few answers on KC and this Super Bowl will be a rout for them. Not a close game. Those of you whining about the KC calls? KC has no control. This sinister rhetoric crap is doucher talk.
