thanks man.
+Bhushan Kuchewar You are welcome!
If you are using Defined Names and you insert a row in between the top and bottom cell in the range defined by the Name, then yes, the Defined Name will update!
Thanks so much, this was exactly what I was looking for.
You're welcome!
Excactly what i looking for. Thank you!
Do you have a video on how to sum last digit of each cell of a range?
This should work: =SUMPRODUCT(RIGHT(Range,1)+0)
We can do it with Google Sheets?
Loved this! Hopefully you see my comment soon...I would like to know how to count the number of times Your Name appears in the example above, if some of the dates were changed to 1/1/2008, e.g., A8, A12, A17...I used the example you gave Kali earlier and I think I am on the right track, but I do not get a valid result.
Is there anyway i can search by the date and name? For instance i want to see how much money i made in January in TX versus how much I made in California in January.
NICE , Thanks a lot this is wt i was looking for
Glad this helps - my video from 14 years ago. If you need more recent versions of Excel:
Here is the more recent version of this video, much better: ua-cam.com/video/6c9fIZys7ng/v-deo.html
