Bro, the thing with the gut and what you feel about doing something is A BIG PROBLEM. It's always something I want to do, then avoid it, then regret
Here my take on why this happens: When you are trying to change something, you are not just changing that thing you want to do, you fail to realize that you are changing your WHOLE life. In order to embrace that one activity you have to embrace the fact that things arround you will change aswell. Be aware of the fact, that you will meet new people, have to deal with different set of problems, and that life in general will change. For example: If you feel like ur too lazy to go to the gym, it may be something entirely different you are avoiding. You may be a shy person and you never tought about the fact, that going to the gym also means exposing yourself to a different set of people. Try to always be aware off ALL the variables changing, not just the ones you are focused on.
