If yu buy the unlocked international version yu get a pair of quality b&o play headsets with braided cables. The US carriers are pretty cheap i guess 🤷🏻♂️

I would use them anyways. I have some circumaural headphones that are meant to be used with a DAC and earbuds hurt after a while. I get that it is nice to have an extra pair, especially with the crazy price, but if you order during a promo usually it offsets the price. I remember the G4 having a promo for leather backs and extra batteries and external chargers for them. It saved me money that I would have ended up spending anyways.
Your dislikes are valid. I just think you should approach the pros and cons differently. Maybe list them in groups rather than just give them out randomly (list what you like then list what you don't like). Just my opinion.
LG is releasing so many variants. I have to till december to buy this in India. Even update takes 3 months to reach India. I would be happy if they rollout devices and updates at same time like other phones do.
Not sure. I don’t remember having ear buds in my G7 that was T-mobile either. $20 is a good deal. You will like it. Might be my sleeper phone of the year

Just got it last night. First impressions definitely have me liking this phone a lot. It’s definitely more comfortable to hold than the note. I have used the camera and got to say it does some really nice things. Wide angle is amazing for sure. Overall phone feels snappy and fast. I can’t say it will be an upgrade from your note 9. However, i am thinking LG nailed this one. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I loved the g7, but the V40’s camera and screen are much better imo. I am probably the last person you should ask if you want to switch devices. I have a serious problem and am always swapping out my phones. So far, I would go for it if you want the free stuff if you pre-order. I think if you like the G7, you will love the V40

And now I hear of all the updates to the camera that came out was supposed to make it way better not sure if it was carrier or international version. Here is a thing unless & until Apple change color of the accessories none of the other smartphone companies will change it from white to black. Apple will do it eventually, cause Apple follow Samsung for eg. IPhone has bigger screen & black front now.
I got the 3 XL 64gb Just Black model pre-ordered. I decided I would give it a fair shot, especially after I saw that you can hide the notch. The notch is so freaking ugly it's got to be hidden. Trading in the old 2 XL.

Was this close to getting the note 9 but after finding out about the v-40 & picking it up it's Featherlite design nearly bezel-less.P_OLED screen with better resolution than the note 9 & damn near as perfect as sammys amoled displays which drew me to Sammy in 1st place after taking one look at the first Super AMOLED screen you get spoiled.. ip68 rating 5 cameras with that hifi 32bit dac 3.5mm HP Jack & the 3300mah Batt lasts all day even with heavy usage and as always it helps to keep the screen as dim as possible while still viewing your content easily

AT&T ship in ugly AF orange or blue cheap cardboard boxes that are torn up by the time you get it. They don't include earphones because they WANT people to buy their accessories inside the store... AT&T has a bunch of bloatware and also disabled shortcuts to turn off data to force people to go over their data easier... AT&T is whack, I'm glad I left.
The box is garbage kindling for fire. Money is in the phone. 5 nice cameras. Great audio with and without headphones. The oled is way shaper then the s9. Ui is smooth and crisp and very customiseable. Video quality is great. Pics are nice. Its on par with samsung and apple all day. You spen half the video on presentaion. But thats out the window after a week. Sorry i have to dislike this video.

Good video, that phone is gorgeous. The notch isn’t really a big deal, the one on my Xs Max doesn’t bother me a bit.
On Apple you can't hide it... LG did a good job with it, probably the best implementation and made use of that portion of the screen
