I bought a new left over 92 Dyna custom in 93. I rode it to Sturgis and back from New Mexico. I loved that bike. I remember in Sturgis a lot of guys made fun of it. I didn't understand why. It was kind of funny by the 2010's they were a hot item. A man ahead of my time I guess. Lol
Bold video for a dealer. But perhaps not entirely unjustified? I've driven a Dyna. A 2015 Fatbob 103. This one rode perfect. Also it has a "longer transmission" than my tourins after it. I rode it back from Bike Week Faak am See in 1 rush from 2022 to Holland! No problem! Now I'm on a 2024 RGS in Industrial Yello/Vivid Black. Fits my height better with 6.2'
When I ride my Sportster Roadster, I wave my hand at all Harley riders…but Dyna bros…they just ignore me. They look at me just like the way Triumph riders look at Royal Enfield riders…
I have to admit I was pissed when it happened but having bought ‘23 Heritage , it’s the best riding Softail ever . The monoshock is really a game changer
All they should have done is not use the old Dyna model names with the newer platform. Keep the Dyna names with the OG Dynas to pay respect to the models without muddying the waters. By giving a newer name to a new model would have gotten people onboard I reckon.
I miss my old Sporster and later my M8 Lowrider but I firmly believe my new Triumph T100 is far more suitable for UK roads. I just don't feel so cool anymore😢
You make great videos Matt. You really do.
Thanks! I appreciate that.

I loved the fatbob. The Dyna was such a comfortable ride.

As a proud Dyan (Wide Glide) owner I was not aware of the history behind the line's demise....thanks Matt. Bob, Dubai
I miss analog gauges
Great video!
Thanks, man! I appreciate that.
Man, I love my softtails. My 2022 Heritage absolutely rocks along with my Lowrider ST.
Never knew the Dyna, so I dont miss it.
Something ive learned...ya don't need to own a new Harley. The Motor Company has made something that appeals to everyone
This was the death of Harley. It’s where it all began! They should have never discontinued the Dyna.

Thanks for this, found it therapeutic.
M8 softail chassis is great.. it handles very well. I wanted softail slim, test rode old one and new m8 one... Big difference.
M8 chassis is a huge improvement.
Great video. Thanks.
I own a 2017 Dyna Fxdl, best bike I've ridden. H.D. made a mistake.
