Sir will u please tell me what is the difference between the terms dissolution ,winding up ,liquidation , striking off insolvency , bankruptcy vry confused i searched it but kuch smjh ni aaya plz plz reply
winding up is a whole process of legal ending of a company. Dissolution is the last stage of winding up. Liquidation is also a part of winding up which is performed by a liquidator. Bankruptcy is a state where a company is unable to pay it's debt(insolvent) and a court officially declares that company is really insolvent, then the company is declared as bankrupt. striking off means removal of name of company from records of ROC .
