Rory, You have the voice of a thousand angels...and the best of the bestest made this album it's huge success...thank you for being part of it.
Rory was an amazing voice himself!
Every member ,past and present of the Neverland express were professionals in their own right!
Rest in peace Meatloaf, you are no longer in pain! You are and always will be a rock legend!! Rock on in heaven!!
Rory Dodd is Canadian! Never knew that... such a famous & unique voice in the history of popular music, even if his name is little-known outside the industry.
Meat came to Ireland in the late 80s & was still here for Féile '90, August Bank Holiday weekend. I saw him perform in The National Stadium in January '90 as well. Unreal. He said he loved it here & will always hold Ireland close to his heart as the gigs he played were all rammed to capacity. Never missed any of his following concerts. 10 more times, 1993 - 2013. Miss ya, Meat.
I loved Meatloaf. I'm 56. I heard him when I was about 15. I loved his voice. He was just lovely. R.I.P. From Ireland 🇮🇪
What A singer he was A great musician and singer and writer he was .....
On of my favourite singers of all time, what a voice. Bless you Meatloaf, blessings to his family and friends.
Rest in peace meatloaf...Will miss you.....your music lives on.....forever..
Such a different time we'll never get back.
Two Out of Three Ain't Bad was one of my favorites...R.I.H. Meat Loaf
It went gold in 38 countries! And sold the album! I was 10 at the time and needed a way to piss off my parents! The bat out of hell album cover did the job very well! Kept the album, traded in the parents! Set 17 didn't work for me! And they were Jehovah witnesses! Screw them and their religion! Almost died with that family!
Am heartbroken. Meatloaf was a truly amazing singer and artist. May he rest in peace. Sending love and blessings to his family. He will always be in my heart and soul. 😪 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Meat loaf you will be missed 😢 I listened to your music as a teen and still do we love you very much
Paradise by the dashboard light, Meat Loaf broke all the bonds. A grateful nod to Jim Steinman for giving his words to such a voice.
The voice and the soul. My favorite as Rory said it’s You take the words right out of my mouth.
God bless him🙏🏻
Wow .. I am beginning to realize I am getting older .. I enjoyed his music and persona may his soul rest in peace 😈
A real original legend👍👍
Another great loss for this year, Rest in peace meatloaf

One of great grestest actor and rock music artist of all time rest in peace meat loaf
You will be sadly missed Meatloaf
Awesome stories, thanks for sharing the walk down memory lane!
What a great interview❤🇨🇦
Love you Meat Loaf missed forever thanks for making my life special
I’m still heartbroken 💔 🦇
Heavens Halls are ringing with that huge voice
Was a shock to hear about his passing, I remember Meatloaf from the Rocky Horror Picture show, then he came out with his music, was great! His music still lingers on youtube.
Why surprised.. he lived to.74. Had a great run. Forever resting xo
Between 77 and 93 there were 3 other albums, midnight at the lost and found, blind before I stop, and 1 other that just didn't sell great albums but known only to his hardcore fans! I owned all 3 back then!
Fascinating interview. I watched a documentary on BOH recently and that's exactly how the record deal and release happened. I love how humble this man (Rory) is with not an ounce of arrogance and only humility. He could have used the opportunity for a bit of self-promotion how he was part of other related recordings, but didn't. He sang lead on 'Rock and Roll Dreams come Through'. He seems a prime example of someone in the industry who feels no entitlement for himself. Logan, British Columbia.
Like the rest of the Neverland express, what a class act! And to meet them, what an expert for a 10 year old kid! Have enjoyed everything the individual members have done!
I’m agree with Rory about his favorite song. You take the words right out of my mouth.
Rest In Peace and God bless him for all the emotions and happiness he brought to the world. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
R.I.P ✝️🙏
Brilliant singer. Sadly missed xx
The legend lives on..rest in peace ol'friend..a Canadian icon
R.I.P. 🙏🙏🙏
I wish I knew Meat. He seems like a really nice guy.
The Earth lost a soul, The heavens retrieved their Angel.
you can't be sure heaven has any claim on any soul for all you know we could be reincarnated into another life.
You are correct starduster I did not say that heaven retrieved the soul the soul has been released from Earth into the universe it may be planted down at any time but the heavens definitely received their angel because the spirit of him is with God
Rory Dodd was the best! Shouldve been a household name!
RIP 🙏
They was all so awesome I couldn't pick
Rest in peace big manxx will never forget the best musician in the world.🎼🎼🎼❤️
Rest In Peace Meat Loaf!
You were the best!! RIP!
Lovely interview, thank you! Still doesn't seem real...Incidentally, I never knew Meat was the one who introduced Rory to Jim.

He would have been 74 in September.

"It came as a shock.......We were all expecting it....."
Huh?
*I’m probably going to get bashed for this but Meatloaf is not on any of my playlists, nor have I ever purchased or jammed any of his songs.*
Lol.
It's finally happened.. Wow.. Just another cold eh.. I don't think so. I wasn't huge into his music but that doesn't mean I didn't respect him.. He was an amazing singer and he could write a song. Rest in Peace Meatball.. Lol.. That's what I used to call him.
Meatloaf got the booster juice?
Funeral Service for Meatloaf 350 for 45 min
Boostered. Sorry you believed them. RIP.
He was a mess last time he came to my city. He collapsed on stage. They wouldn't refund our tickets. This us not a surprise just another sad rocker meeting up with self made destiny.
A Shock? He was 74, it's OK not to be shocked. Meat Loaf had a great life, and can be proud that he never $hit his pants to dodge the draft like that pathetic traitor Ted Nugent.
For real, that is your comment, respecting a great singers passing?
