  • The Deathadder v3 represents a unique intersection between affordability and the maximum competitive performance and design philosophy... if the size is right for you at least. Great mouse here, easily puts up a fight to other top tiers like the viper v2 pro, deathadder v3 pro, pulsar xlite v3 esg and lamzu thorn.

    Was gonna pick one of these up but been on a fingertip journey lately. Great price point if you don't mind cables which I don't. Wishing you a happy 2024 in advance 🥳

      Oh shoot yeah, this isn’t much for fingertip lol. I’d keep an eye out for the OP1 8khz, could be a literal endgame wired fingertip. Happy new year to you to bro 🤙

    I've been trying new mice for scroll wheel longevity, that's been my long time gripe, mine kept failing after a while from multiple brands.

      Yeah it looks like a decent number of people are running into scroll wheel problems with this, such a bummer. The Xtrfy M42 used to be one of my top favorites but that got a janky scroll wheel after like 3 months.

    Amazing tech. For me, this goes 9/10 for everyday use as well because of that perfect ergonomic shape. Other options at this price range are simply not worth it. Use it for trading and gaming.. Flawless everywhere.

    The only thing you gotta watch with the DAV3 Wired is its cable/wire, even with a bungee. Mine got random disconnection if I flick or just by even fixing the cable. Tried connecting it to another pc and laptop and it still disconnects so I had to RMA it. When I received the RMA unit, I sold it along with my first dav3 wired unit. Also in a long term usage, the scroll wheel tends to have a 'jump' after months of usage.

    This would have been a perfect mouse if only it had RGB, preferably looking similar to Basilisk V3 or Cobra Pro. I think that every wired gaming mouse needs to have RGB because the only reason to not include it is when the mouse is wireless and you want to have the longest battery life possible.

    But already problems after 6 months with the scroll wheel. It scrolls way more than I want or it goes down when i scroll up and so on. So 3 stars from me. The software takes about 3 gigabytes and it installs on lots of folders across C:\ Lots of .exe files running all the time when razer synapse is running.
    It's so useless to praise reviewers that used a mouse for 3 days. What if mouse fails after 6 months? 1 year? it's still a good mouse?
    If v3 wired fails in 1 year, won't buy a razer product ever again. But for now, there's still a chance I would buy Razer again.

      Yeah that is a huge bummer about the scroll wheel. I’ve used this for about 4 weeks of total use in game and didn’t run into any problems yet. I never do quick short term reviews without saying so up front, bare minimum for me is like 1-2 weeks. I wish I could do long term testing like that but if I tested every mouse for 6 months I’d only have 2 reviews a year lol. Yeah Synapse is a bulky thing, but the onboard memory means you can customize the mouse and uninstall after if it causes your system any problems. I’ve never had any issues with it but I see a lot of reports of it ganking people’s memory usage.

      @steamstories1279 so are you saying you bought the V3 wired and had scrollwheel issues?

  • @Jagrajagra
    @Jagrajagra 16 днів тому

    I just purchased one and it's going straight back. The L/R buttons are noisy and require far too much pressure to push. They actually feel cheap. The surface of the mouse is slippery and too smooth (It should have at least been provided with the stick-on grips available to the pro). The way they've changed the shape... it feels less conforming to the hand than previous versions. Most people who used a Deathadder V2 and loved it, are perhaps going to be wondering what's going on. The only saving grace to it is the base, wheel and maybe the tech inside. And the fact that it doesn't have the rubber side grip to wear out. I'd go so far as to say that this mouse is one of the worst feeling i've used. The l/r buttons are just so very bad and i even wonder if after prolonged use they'd induce fatigue. I'm starting to also wonder if Razer have stopped making decent mice. Always a design flaw somewhere these days.

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  2 місяці тому

      That’s fair. Personally the new shape just seems much more ergonomic and well designed, but it unfortunately means that the OG Deathadder shape is getting left behind. It was a classic, especially for the people that were used to it. But I’d give it a try, you might end up liking the new shape.

    It´s too expensive. No RGB, no special things.
    I had to pay 30 bucks for a used one because I don´t see the 60 bucks in this item.
    The only thing in this mause that I don´t like is that the side buttons are too high up. If they would made the buttons a bit more low, it would have been perfect.

      It's expensive because of good specs. Still I would also prefer if it had RGB. Preferably, similar to how it was done on Basilisk V3.
