Great vid Chris! Xano fuzzy search is a no brainer. The reason the ZQ fuzzy search breaks down is that it requires all the DB records to be downloaded to the browser and then performs the fuzzy search client-side. So as of now, no real way to perform decent keyword search in Bubble. Excited to have a play with this!
Hi Matt, I don't know if algolia's search is considered keyword search but provide a very robust search capabilities to Bubble apps. There are plugins allowing you to use Algolia in your app.
Hi , I am currently utilizing Bubble to retrieve data from Xano using a custom query with the following specifications: Database: User Input:Team. The query performs effectively and produces the desired results when executed directly on the Xano platform. However, upon initiating the same call within the Bubble platform, it appears to retrieve all data irrespective of any alterations made to the parameter key value. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter.
What subscription package were you using in Bubble (just to compare the speed)? Do you have a Bubble demo page that can help us with the setup? How do you import large data set into Xano?
I have a bubble app, this closest thing I can compare it too is Pcpartpicker I guess. So lots of database entries hundreds of thousands lots of searching. I'm starting to hit the limits for Bubble DB. I was thinking Xano might be good to switch over too. I have enoroumous amount of backend workflows. Does the logic stay on the bubble side?
🧐what i meant was calling bubbles own api to perfom a search ... instead of calling xano you call bubbles api from bubble since it exposes its own data api............get then data from external ''bubbles api'' in Repeating groups
