I love travelon so well made. I have a crossbody purse by them I travel with. I give you credit after watching your videos years ago discussing their features. It’s worth the price protecting your values
Travelon makes nice travel gear. I use their 3 compartment travel pouch for my electronics, snacks and tablet. I pull it out of my carry on and it fits in the seat pocket protecting my items from germs.
I have some Travelon and Pacsafe bags. They are the best! Appreciate your review of really small bags. Love that little rolling case! Rolling bags are just a great option. Thanks!
Thanks to your tips my long flight to poland from phx went well with your advice on wearing compression socks. Then your anti theft tips are so good. I helped another solo travler going to rome Italy I met on our plane to Copenhagen. This is my first time out of my country. Fulfilling my dream of going to a different country. Going to this country for a rock concert and to experience a different culture and learn as much of their language as I can. Your tips helped with comfort in a long plane ride and feeling confident on not being a theft target. Thank you for sharing and being on here !
Hi Laurie! As always, love your videos! I love my Travelon bags. I have 3 cross body bags and have used them for multiple International trips. After seeing this video, I am now considering Travelon bag #1 to use as my personal bag for my upcoming trip!
I use the roll on bag with the trolley sleeve as my personal item bag all the time since backpacks become too heavy for me during long walks through airports.
I just purchased the 16 inch Ecohup under seat backpack. It looks pretty good to me, and I'll be using it in a few weeks when I fly to Thailand. I really enjoy your videos and like the tips you give
Hey Laurie, I found a great travel product to help cut down on liquids and space! The Olay melts facial cleanser. I just bought some for my week in AZ in November. They are tiny and I put the amount I need in one of those silicone zip pouches. They lather amazingly well and not drying at all. I bought the Vitamin C ones. Cleans, tones and refreshes.
Hi Laurie, I have the #4 bag from Walmart. I’m 81 & I use it just for my carry-on meds, jewelry etc. I love having a bag that rolls rather than carry. Thanks for all your videos, I never miss one.😊
Would love smaller bags like this that had trolly sleeves! I like having some room under the seat for my feet to stretch out, so a smaller bag is nice. But I also appreciate a trolly sleeve for when you have to run across an airport to catch a connecting flight.
This video came at the perfect time. We are flying Air France in the spring and have been having a hard time finding carry ons and personal under the seat luggage that is not over the top expensive. Thanks for the tips.
I have the Delsey Paris which resembles the wheeled Amazon underseater in this video. Sometimes it fits under a seat, sometimes it doesn't. It depends on the airplane's configuration of the seats in front of you and where you're seated on the plane. From experience, on a Boeing 757-200 and 737-800, I was able to fit the bag completely under the seat in front of me and still had leg room. On a Boeing 717-200, seated next to the window in aisle 26, the space under the seat was half of what it normally would be, so it didn't fit. Beware and be prepared - pack essentials you’ll need during your flight into a slim, separate organizer that you can remove in case you have to put the underseater into the overhead bin.
I love your videos. They are very informative and you get to the point without taking forever! We will be flying Air France in April and I have not been able to find any carry on or personal bags that fit their tiny guidelines unless they are so below the measurements or over the top expensive. These bags will probably never be used again so I can’t justify spending a lot. Any suggestions for me would be appreciated. I can’t believe the amount of products that I have bought because of your videos. Keep posting those videos with the great links.
Hello! I’m just popping in to say I have the first bag, and think it’s great! I haven’t traveled out of the country with it, but I have taken it on a handful of domestic trips.
How did you know this is what I've been searching for? lol I'm going on Swiss and their personal item size is 11.8" x 15.7" x 3.9". The 3.9 is throwing me off!
Hi Laurie, thank you for the advice. Just wanted to check that bag No 1 is the one you have ? I have followed the link but the measurements are different. They say the bag is 9 x 11 x 3.5 ins. I think you said the length was 13ins. Would be grateful for your confirmation or otherwise, many thanks xx Wendy P
Hi. Great videos. But I still cannot find a men's underseat bag fitting Jetblue's restrictions of 17"×13"×8". Looking for good quality but not fancy or quilted, etc.
You should review small duffel / gym bags for travel. Last month went to Aruba for 8 days. All I took was a small gym bag 17 (length) x 13 (depth) x 9 (high). I rolled my clothes in those vacuum seal bags. Not sure what bathroom amenities the hotel included so I took toiletries and snacks. Still had lots of space left. This fit perfectly longways (widest part) under the window seat of Delta. For the middle seat, have to push it down a little to get under the power outlet. Even fits the smaller Delta aisle seat if you turn it sideways (short end). According to size charts it should fit under seat of other airlines as well. Disadvantage ... US costumes / border patrol gets suspicious of a single male traveling alone to Aruba for 8 days with only a small personal item bag.
Hi…..I have been watching your videos for the last year …very informative! I see you and others choose backpack style carry ons…I don’t know why…but I am rather paranoid about using these…I just have this vision of someone coming up in back of me and getting into it …I prefer cross bodies or types that I can keep in line of vision. I do see in the latest video that you can interlock the zippers on the backpack styles or one probably could wear it in the front? I think my main issue is being able to see it while I am traveling and not wearing it on my back out of my field of vision. Thanks for all the info!
01:12 Wow, the security features on this bag are next level! The way the zippers lock and the wire-reinforced straps make it perfect for peace of mind while traveling. 🚶♂👜 Definitely a must-have for any international trip! ✈💼
I just flew on Air Canada where neither my usual roll aboard carry on or personal item that I use on American Airlines fit. The personal item specs were 17x13x6 so much narrower than usual. I had to order about 6 different bags from Amazon to find one. Several of the bags I ordered weren’t the dimensions😊 listed in the description. I also had to get an international size roller carry on. I got the Briggs and Riley hard case because I don’t like a clamshell bag. They are pricier but have a lifetime warranty.
Must review Lululemon 2.5 crossbody!! I couldn’t believe I spent $68 on it. I just got back from 10 days with a Mediterranean cruise. This bag was amazing, especially in Italy where I had to carry my passport all the time. Please review this bag.

Would that be the capacity figure? Thank you so much!
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie yes. I went to the Amazon link you listed under this video and got the dimensions from it and compared it to the Level8 Grace 20-inch extended model I purchased a year ago. I was trying to see if the bag I already have is the same size inside. The outer dimensions listed in the product specifications are pretty much the same for each bag - yours and mine. But the difference is the “capacity”. Yours is 40L and mine is 36L. I think that means you can get more stuff into yours than I can get into mine. I just wanted to double check I was thinking correctly.

That first bag looks great with all the pockets and security zipper attachments.
I was impressed the more I showed it so I kept it.

Yes love the first 3 by them!
