Hi, I was asked two questions by the client from test NG 1. what are the classes used to integrate TestNG into a reporting system. 2. Can we keep a breakpoint at a line that is @ aftertest annotation? Please clarify these bro
You can use the listeners for reporting purpose and you can place the breakpoint at that step

Thanks for this wonderful video! It was clean and clear. But when i try to implement, Assertion is not happening. I can able to write Assert and assert methods, but in console, its not printing. Could you please suggest?
Please suggest!
It prints in the console only when the assertions are failed buddy.
For successful assertions it won't print anything.
If you want to print even for successful assertions then you can override the assert class or implement the logging in the project

For Assert.assertEquals , in NOT equal case, the custom message is not getting printed in my log.info in Java . Where actually it is getting printed?
It will be printed in the console buddy.
Can you check it and confirm me once
@@HYRTutorials Yes, the message is getting printed in TestSuite.xml. But how to get it printed in debug.log as this file is referred first in case of any failure.

May be and may not be buddy.
Because it all depends on our requirement.
Let's take the assertions as example here.
Some use the TestNG assertions only but some uses the assertions from assertj library instead of TestNG

Message on Assert not showing on Console
Hi, sir I am facing a problem with autocomplete recommendations when Assert is typed and it does not show org. testng. Tried all work around but it does not show . Please do help out!!
1. TestNG library might not be installed
2. After typing Assert, press ctrl+space buddy

at org.testng.asserts.Assert.fail(Assert.java:99) can we hide these all message which are coming after the assertion error
If the assertion is failed it will definitely show the log in console buddy.
If it doesn't show then how do u know whether it is failed or not
