Bunch of mates havin a great time an workin together makin it even more special. Huge open beautiful country to wander though an get away from all the stress an crap for a few days. Thanks so much for takin us along on a great trip. Appy trails guys, All da best from da UK
Awesome trip . I live for trips like that one . Congrats to who ever dragged that boat all the way in there. We have taken a few boats to some very remote lakes and left them in there for anyone to use, labour of love for the outdoors , Thanks for sharing, great trip.
Agreed! I don't mention that in the video but yeah these are not our boats but we respect them as if they are. Some guys have their boats chained up. I guess they may have been the victim to theft or vandalism or whatever. I guess they want to make sure it's there when they go and I get it! We just bring the motor and we put the boat back in the same place when we leave. If this boat ended up going missing, it probably wouldn't take much for us to bring one out and leave it for us and others to enjoy as well. Thanks for the comment and checking out the video.
Awesome video man! Your camp spot there along the lake shore looked super nice. It's a good thing it wasn't buggy like you mentioned or else it would have been a bit of a nuisance to have them harassing you guys. The fish you guys cooked up looked awesome! Heck, the whole meal was a 10 in my book. Thanks for taking us along and sharing the awesome drone video.
Thanks buddy! Yeah it's a beautiful spot for sure. I hope to do more of this in the future. Glad you enjoyed the video and meal haha. It sure was tasty!
Looks like a great trip, love the camp!! I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. Just finished tuning up the quad and itching to get out for an adventure.
Hey Mike! Thanks for the comments. Where are you from? It's such a nice place and I love the adventure getting out there. It's an absolute rush from the ride in to the solitude and peacefulness of being out there. This place is the reason why I wanted to start recording. Good to hear you got your maintenance done... I'm *almost* done but I'm mentally ready to get out.
@@ElevationATV We are in BC, about an hour out of Vancouver. Lots of good riding out here as well, and certainly more than enough adventure.. The only downfall is that it's sometimes a little hard to arrange a group adventure with like minded people.... I like the adventure, exploring and fishing, but I'm not into fast, which seems to be of more common down here...lol. I have been looking to start recording and posting as well, but I never seem to turn on the cameras...
@Mike Miller I'm like minded! I am not into fast... or mudding. I love to explore... see stuff I haven't seen before. Take my time and take in the sights. Never been to BC but would love to ride out what way one day. Maybe when the kids are older the wife and I can take a road trip lol.
@Mike Miller I run my camera the entire ride. When I first started I was turning it on and off, was a pain in the butt and would come home with some not-so-great clips. I really didn't have much intention of making a channel at that point so I didn't really care. You really never know when something will pop up so I just run it the whole time and change out the batteries periodically. It's a ton more work when editing but whatever lol. Do you have any local clubs? We have a few here and I joined the one that made most sense geographically. Attending the group rides is a good way to meet people though. That's how I met my buddy Igor and we've been on quote a few adventures since and already plans are festering for this season.
@@ElevationATV Leaving the camera on is probably the best idea, and I just need to get into that habit. As usual, the best footage always happens when the camera is off. I think I just need to commit to recording and editing an outing, then actually post it.. As far as groups go, I have only joined some of the local FB groups to see what people are up to in the area. I haven't actually committed to officially joining a club or committing to any outings or activities. I was active in the 4wd groups and communities years ago and enjoyed that, so maybe it's time, now that the kids are adults, to convince the wife to get out there again. I would also love to check out your end of the country with the quad, but who knows.. The drive out there is just a little long...lol.
great trip, even if you didn't catch fish... we were probably at work, and you were there.... so who really won. great trails, hope the 4wd was an easy fix... cheers brotha....
Hey buddy, it's really not even about the fishing. It's about... we'll you've watched the videos! Lol. Good fishing is always a bonus though but not one of drove home thinking that this trip was a waste because of the fishing. Look back at the 2020 trip, we did amazing. I look forward to doing this again... hopefully in the spring we can get out there again. 4WD us already fixed on the AC. Ended up needing a whole new actuator. Winch has also been replaced so she should be ready to go for 2023! Thanks for the comment buddy, appreciate the support as always.
Sorry for the delay. Was waiting to get a whole 40 min so I didn’t have to watch in pieces! Amazing drone footage. That place looks heavenly. Nice use of moss to cushion the roots! What a plate of food! That looks like some good eatin! Riding over those rock formations is really neat. Terrain like I’ve never seen. No insects…what a blessing! Great editing once again. Looked like a fantastic trip. Thanks for takin us along!
Hey man, I get it! You don't ever have to apologize for being a great father. I know what it's like and not having the time haha. Thanks for the comments, it's a pretty amazing trip. Just one trip and have many more memories than I recorded but is what it is.
New to your channel, really like the content you are putting out,I do atv camping myself,it’s where I find my serenity. Cheers from Northwestern Ontario 🍻
Hey there neighbor! That's awesome, love getting out to do this kind of camping. I hear there are some great trails out Kenora/Keewatin way. Would love to check those out some day. Thanks for the comment and compliment! Appreciate it!
Awesome video! - - - Almost impossible to get those tents perfectly level when you're camping in the Sheild - lol, but you guys came close. - - - 14:49 - you guys have some pretty relaxed rules. We wouldn't let the guy count it unless he had it in his hands😉😂- - - 16:13 - Looks delicious! Is that fish from home? or did you guys catch that? - - - Must've been awfully weird to see another ATV crashing through the bush on the way out - LOL - That access trail is a beauty! Would love to do that one. Was this in Northern Manitoba or just east of your home area close to Ontario? - - - Looked like you guys had an amazing trip! Thanx for taking us along!

Very well done. Looks like you guys had a great time and the weather cooperated as well!
Thanks! It was a great trip even with the not-so-grewt fishing. No bugs and awesome weather.

That was a great trip and true ATV riding. I won't ask how you got the boat in there.
Thanks! We actually didn't bring the boat, but someone else did. We just borrow it haha. I suspect it was dragged in by snowmobile in the winter.
