There is absolutely nothing wrong with how you vlog. Social media makes certain people feel that they are entitled to know EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of your life, and it’s not right. Keep doing what you’re doing. Also, I’ve been to DC once, but it was so long ago. My twin moved there a few months ago and I can’t wait to visit her once the pandemic calms down... whenever that is 😩

I’m so impressed by your response not only to the rude/hateful dm, but also to the girl giving you constructive criticism of the swimsuit hauls. I feel like so many people get defensive or embarrassed by being call out and they’ll delete comments, block people, etc. instead of recognizing and appreciating. Obviously it’s not okay for people to hold you to an impossible standard, but it’s cool that you are so willing to learn! Love that I discovered your channel, am learning so much xx

You have every right to have boundaries!! Things are personal and people need to respect those boundaries. I think you do really good at showing the things that you want to show/what you're comfortable with and putting out great quality videos. Amy, I love these vlogs!! I'm happy to say I'm employed as a graphic designer in corporate America (college covid-19 grad ) as well. Also your work outfit videos have been a great inspo to me! It's been a big learning curve for me moving to a new city and having my own place and new job during covid but I'm learning a lot and enjoy it

I love your videos and love that you do live a normal 9-5 life. It seems like most youtubers quit their jobs and pursue UA-cam which is fine but unrealistic for many. The 9-5 is not glamorous, it can be draining and sometimes boring. Keep doing what you’re doing. Plus, I was meant to visit DC in September from Australia (but obvs got cancelled) so I’m happy to watch it through your videos.

Great video! What about a what to do when you are new to the city? Not like how to get an apartment but fun stuff like your favorite parks, places to eat or best neighborhoods to walk around in? It might not be a good video idea either the pandemic around but I just love your shots of the city and I think you would make a great video about that.

Also, you’re completely valid in wanting privacy and you don’t have to put you’re entire life online, it’s something I admire when creators do and something I am doing with my own social media presence. watching your work week vlogs because I'm about to start vlogging work weeks in my life, and I'm also living in DC. Your vids are so relaxing, and your recent work week vids are seriously making me miss being able to head to work. I work for the federal gov, so we're still working from home, indefinitely, lol.
How about a video comparing how “a day in life” a year ago differs from today. Goals accomplished, habits that changed, routines that you found that didn’t work, etc.

I'd love if you did a video on practical tips for living in DC (or really any city lol)- like, shoes you'd recommend for walking/rain, bags you recommend for carrying stuff around, metro tips, etc! I’m glad you want to be private about your personal life honestly. For a long time I’ve always like “oh what if I made a UA-cam channel” but I’ve just realized there are so many thing I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing and a lot of people I wouldn’t feel comfortable even watching videos that I made! So I don’t blame you at all for that! You’re human and UA-cam shouldn’t be your whole life :)
ALSO! I was worried about getting my hair done too but my salon was amazing! It was literally only me and this other girl and my two hair stylist and we were all wearing masks and they sanitized before and after I was there! I’d def call your salon for some peace of mind of how they handle everything.

I also live in D.C and I love seeing the city montages because I try and test how well I remember all the streets lol. Also along those lines we understand you wanting to keep your life private. Just wanted to start off by saying that I absolutely love your style! And in terms of the person who left the hate comment, it's honestly more of a reflection of them. I find that most people who are rude to others and find joy in putting people down don't even do it necessarily because they don't like the other person but instead stems from their own insecurities and are envious about some aspect of your life. For future content, not sure if you already have a video, but I would love to see something about your journey to why you decided to start vlogging and tips for others who want to start

Totally unrelated question but I know you mentioned loving your madewell tote! I’m thinking about getting one and am wondering if you find the leather difficult to deal with when it rains? I love the look of it but it’s definitely a bit of an investment and I don’t want to ruin it immediately!
so ive beaten mine up wildly throughout the past 5 years and it always bounces back??? its definitely stained a bit and beat up but i like the way it looks. i dont think youre supposed to get real leather wet though
