Can I say about the staggered release dates, the video game industry use to be like that doing PS2 or PS1 era or before it. Sometimes US gets the game weeks or months before us, but doing 7 generation (the PS3 XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii era) is US gets the game 4 days before we do. But since before beginning of 8th generations (the PS4, XBOX ONE and Wii U) that staggered release dates in video game industry is dead now thankfully. They just launch the game worldwide only (minus the censorship, also which countries have sanctions and shit) I hope movie industry do the same thing, it is going to happen I feel like…but we are not there yet.
This is something I was angry about back when Zootopia was released. The Americans got the film three weeks before we did, and I ended up seeing a minor spoiler piece of art posted on FurAffinity, and the artist didn't really make any sincere apology. I had to drive a 100 mile round trip to Dunfermline catch an advance screening to avoid further spoilers - the film was definitely worth it at least. I don't think the language barrier makes much difference either - Zootopia was released in South Korea before it was released in the US, but wasn't released in Japan until two months after we got it...
