With gobby not knowing the difference between the fish and the music term bass, I can imagine her reading “We turned the bass up so high the building shook” and she is sitting there imagining a giant fish flopping around rapidly making the room shake for a solid 5 minutes and then realizing they meant the music term bass

The real kicker is that the way you pronounce bass (fish) is the exact way you say bass (instrument) in german, while the fish has a completely different name

I like how within two minutes, Ellis admits that he'd be ok with eating nothing but nutrient paste for the rest of his life, then calls Alex an unfeeling robot.
I can tolerate eating the same thing for a couple days, but there's no way I would be able to eat only nutri-paste every single day of my life.
@@Nyghtking Flavor is important in one's life as well, so if you're going for nutrient paste, make sure flavor is accounted for several tubes.
I think subscribing to a good meal plan would solve the issue.

There have been a fair few attempts to produce nutrient powders or pastes. Back in 2016, the best known attempt at this was Soylent, which had been started in 2013 by Rob Rhinehart. Rob Rhinehart was quoted as saying “I hypothesised that the body doesn’t need food itself, merely the chemicals and elements it contains.”
Soylent Green took it a bit too far though.

I watch these videos with my girlfriend, and she asked near the end of this one, after already watching fucktons of videos, "...Why is he Jonk?" And this could easily be understood as either an philosophical, maybe even existential question, or a more literal question. Although upon further discussion, she does in fact mean, "Why is he called Jonk?" rather than, "Why do Jonk do what Jonk do?"
My best attempt at an answer is, "Because his name is Jake, and he's a little bit jonky."
I would greatly appreciate an official answer to both the philosophical and literal end of this question. I'm sure the crowd can answer the literal, but I feel that only Jonk can say why Jonk do what Jonk do.
He misspelled his own name Jonk, instead of Jake once and we've never let him live it down!
