Above Fin Lough, lies the formidable Doo Lough (Black Lake), one of the deepest lakes in Ireland and surrounded by steep mountains. Here, most of the fishing is around the edges, with splendid long drifts down either side. It is a lake for which the adjective "awesome" is entirely appropriate.
