    My great aunt loved a restaurant's lasagna recipe so much she asked them for the recipe but they refused.
    So she ordered it every week and took half home and picked it apart to get the ingredients.
    She cooked it and every week she got another sample.
    It took her months to get it perfect.
    And she passed it down to us before she died but nobody yet has matched her taste.

    As there are usually some portions of lasagna leftover [unless you are feeding a really big family] it is important to know that lasagna as it is cut into square portion sizes can [each serving] be put in small disposable aluminum food service containers with cardboard lids and frozen. For a quick reprise meal the individual portion can be taken out of the metal container and placed, frozen, on a reqular dish and reheated in a microwave on about 3/4 power.

    • @emilybh6255

    The cheese for the
    Meat lasagna is it the same to do stuff
    Large shells,or manicotti???

    • @KomboEzaliTe
      @KomboEzaliTe 2 роки тому

      It's whole-milk ricotta, parmigiano reggiano, and fresh mozzarella. I think it's a little too loose to use for shells or manicotti, I let the ricotta drain a bit and use skim mozzarella in a higher ratio.
