Exploring Arkansas: Trails Less Traveled: Wattensaw Bayou

This water route at the Wattensaw Wildlife Management Area near Hazen, was one of the first water trails designated by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. WMA’s have always been popular with hunters and anglers. Now a different group of outdoor enthusiasts are enjoying them- those with a paddle and a canoe or kayak.
