It is so amazing seeing Gentry walking again. My spine was broken in a car accident and I had the same surgery as Gentry. Recovery is a long hard road but it is simply amazing in the end. Just having your life back to a new normal is a huge blessing. Prayers for your continued recovery Gentry.

I had to relearn to walk too. Keep up the good work! It feels so good to gain your freedom back and you really find an inner strength that you never knew you had. In the moment it just feels normal and that you are just doing what you need to do, but trust me, after you are walking normal again, unassisted, doing normal things - you feel such a spiritual strength it's overwhelming.

Gentry you have my thoughts and prayers 🙏❤ you are such a inspiration to so many people who have spinal cord injuries and people like me who has 24/7 pain chronic back pain since I was 14 just continuing to get worse as the years have gone by. I'm in my 60's now.I have been disabled since 1999 but hard working and raising 3 girls by myself. They were Amazing kids helping me out when I needed help. I had days where I didn't want to get up and go to work because I hurt so badly. But I didn't have a choice just prayed everyday I could make it through each day. When I see you working so hard it makes my bad days seem nothing like you are going through. And sure that's the way so many others see you want to work harder on whatever is going on in their lives. So thank you for sharing your journey you will get there. God is good. You have so many of us praying for you 🙏 ❤ and I am one of them.
No matter what the outside looks like, the inside will always be the same. The outside now matches, but inside I believe he is even stronger than before. He helps others as much as himself and will enable many to reach beyond their goals.
lots of prayers, always keep faith. My husband was in an accident 9 years ago and had to have c-spine surgery and went through several rounds of PT and the first time he "ran" (more like a fast walk) was so emotional but so worth every second of his journey. He still has moments due to the spinal cord injuries (and having autonomic dysreflexia) but he has came so far with a lot of hard work, faith, patience and support. We also had some of the best doctors. The diagnosis of the autonomic dysreflexia answered so many concerns and so many questions to why his body was doing what it was doing. I look forward to watching your journey and recovery.

Hello from Australia..I have followed you guys for some time now, you are a beautiful family, and just wanted to say from me, one who has gone from being an active person to being disabled with a Neurological condition over the last couple of years, now resulting in weakness, paralysis and buckling legs and a lot of pain and needing to use mobility aids to walk on a good day.... it's a big shock. It is hard and exhausting, but I see you doing so well, slowly but surely improvements come. I too have physio and Neuro physio and am.hoping, wanting to get my strength, balance and mobility back . I want to walk again too. 💪😊 I have found that as long as I do physio each day, even on the not so grear days, I just do less...improvements are happening. I found out this week I can now raise my heels inches up when sitting down, before it was about a quarter of an inch and hard going....as an ex dancer this makes me smile to have improvement. Little improvements but it's going forwards. Heartfelt best wishes to you. It's hard at times, pain, sweat and shakes and wobbles, but onwards and upwards to becoming mobile again. 😊 You can do it, and will get there. I look forward to watching your progress.. 🙏

You’ve got this 💕 my stepdad was in an awful motorcycle accident a few years back and it completely shattered his right leg, to the point of having no knee cap or anything, his leg is now pretty much completely metal, and can’t bend, but he’s up and walking now! 💕 I believe you can heal and get back to what will be a new “normal” 💕
I always plan to be 15 minutes early. Then I don't feel so rushed in the mornings. I enjoy also having those 15 minutes to put my things away, get set up ect.

My brain couldn't even tell me how to use my legs I know you have some paralysis so I can only imagine how much harder that is. The pain and fatigue you have to push through. But I think you are doing amazing and it is good to see you moving forward. As I was told and didn't understand at the time God said you are not finished on this earth and you are going to do big things. Mine has been adopting child with special needs. It has been my calling and something I am very good at because I understand them better than they can understand themselves. God's speed with your recovery. It will be a process you will have set backs but as long you have a good attitude and a fighting spirit you will succeed. God bless you and your family
Walking after a debilitating injury is one of the most scary things to go through. Standing for the first time, the first step, every inch an obstacle. A trip to the bathroom a milestone, stepping onto a moving escalator a miraculous achievement. May God guide your progress and steady and guide each step. God Bless.

I've always been told "early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable." so thats been my work mindset for as long as I can remember. Also, that part on the rollator is needed unless gentry isn't going to sit on the seat part at all. its to keep him from falling backwards :P And I am SOOO happy seeing you walking! I started watching you guys after the plane crash and I have been looking forward to seeing gentry’s recovery and I didn’t realize you guys had anything to do with Beddy’s. i learned what Beddy’ bedding was from Bonnie Holien.
That’s wonderful that Gentry is walking a little. He’s doing really good! That’s good that Brock’s working now & hope he does real well working in the family business & it sounds like he will be a good, hard worker. My Mom and I are both secretaries for the same company, and she’s in her early 70’s and basically in charge, and my daughter has even worked with us part-time while attending college and we work really well together even though we have our moments.
I see a lot of comments about Gentry but very little, if any, about Betsy. Don't get me wrong, I find Gentry's recovery journey very very inspirational and he is one of my favorite people in this world. I ADORE his humour so very much. But Betsy's patience and love for Gentry is also very admirable.
I'd say at least 5 minutes unless it is like your first week at the job like Gentry said because it makes a really good impression on the employer! Love you guys and I'm so glad that Gentry is doing good. It makes me super happy to see that Gentry can vlog and can try his hardest to walk which makes me so motivated because Gentry has been through so much (your whole family has been) and when I am having a bad day it shows me that there is always a reason to keep pushing hard! I started watching you guys after the plane crash and I have been looking forward to seeing gentry’s recovery and I didn’t realize you guys had anything to do with Beddy’s. i learned what Beddy’ bedding was from Bonnie Holien.

That’s wonderful that Gentry is walking a little. He’s doing really good! That’s good that Brock’s working now & hope he does real well working in the family business & it sounds like he will be a good, hard worker. My Mom and I are both secretaries for the same company, and she’s in her early 70’s and basically in charge, and my daughter has even worked with us part-time while attending college and we work really well together even though we have our moments.
I see a lot of comments about Gentry but very little, if any, about Betsy. Don't get me wrong, I find Gentry's recovery journey very very inspirational and he is one of my favorite people in this world. I ADORE his humour so very much. But Betsy's patience and love for Gentry is also very admirable.

I'd say at least 5 minutes unless it is like your first week at the job like Gentry said because it makes a really good impression on the employer! Love you guys and I'm so glad that Gentry is doing good. It makes me super happy to see that Gentry can vlog and can try his hardest to walk which makes me so motivated because Gentry has been through so much (your whole family has been) and when I am having a bad day it shows me that there is always a reason to keep pushing hard! You guys are so loving and motivation!!!! Love you guys so much and I am praying for all of you always😘
