Gotta love that 3.0L diesel! Doesn't even sound like it's working hard.

What drive mode was this in? Also, Offroad 2 has the least amount of wheel travel. its to give you approach and departure angle, not articulation. Level 1 is better for articulation.
Use Mud mode or Sand mode for this kind of terrain. also, add more throttle to engage the abs torque sensing more accurately to avoid roll back or mid hill stalling. your tires are not helping you at all either.

I agree also off-road 1 rides better. Most of the time I drive in off-road 1. This was like the 2nd time I drove on off-road 2 because it was touching on the bottom almost everywhere. It was on auto. I only changed it once in sand to sand mode but then it lowered the Jeep.

@@D33WAN4 auto is the least affective mode for offroad, try mud mode next time and youll be surprised how much better the system behaves. Also, if yours has 4lo, use that as well. Haha cheers

@@DorDor400 it does have 4lo and it was on 4lo. I will try mud mode next time for sure to see how it works. I just figured it would allow more wheel spin for you mud and that’s why I didn’t try it. Auto has worked very well other times but for some reason I had a lot more wheel spin this time. Plus I didn’t air down. I went back to stock tires and it doesn’t have much meat on it.

Was this the 2015 release? Did this have the emission system deleted?

No this is 2014. And everything is still on. No changes made.
