- he’s not his biological son because pentious gets no maidens; he was an orphan who would make a habit of hiding in Pen’s weapons workshop for warmth
- at first, Pentious found him annoying, but grew to care for him

Let’s be real here: If it turns out that Sir Pentious does in fact have a kid and the “son?” Wasn’t just a joke line, this is something I would love to see happen cause it makes so much sense! It’s both sad and beautiful!
I love that this implies that there would be two stages in redemption. The first is when you do enough good and are a good enough person for heaven to forgive you and let you in. The second is you being able to forgive yourself.

@@kevinp.h157 While it says that Adam is the first one in heaven, meaning Cain and Abel wouldn't be there, Seth died after Adam, so would likely be up there. Also it doesn't say what happened to Cain and Abel, so we don't even know if they're sinners.

I can understand he was just scared. He didn’t want his son to die or to be buried, but I think around that time it was very difficult for him thrown himself into his work and his rays and machines to hide the pain away. He’s a good father at the eggs boys.

I have my own little headcanons for Pentious' son!
Parenting styles were a bit different in the 1800s, which was his and his son's times, so they never got along too well, Pentious even being slightly abusive, (imagine Pentious, but no goofiness, only serious)
After Pentious' death, his son followed in his footsteps, becoming a great inventor, and even becoming better then his father.
Even to the point of trying to start WW1 up again, using a boat he built for war, only, in true Pentious fashion, to sink, having the son die as well.
and with that i wrote an entire s2 script with him in it EVEN WRITING SONGS FOR HIM???? HELP
