Soooo with you about the Halloween candles needing to be more dark, Smokey, fiery . I do not like sweet smells and do not associate it with Halloween . I wish they would stop doing the same apples and vanilla …nothing spooky about that 🫤

Love the house, except the tombstones look like an afterthought imo. Good eye! I think they got it right on qvc with the base on the lazy susan the correct way. Bummed it didn't come with a candle but easy pay made it easier to swallow. Also picked up wicked cherry & halloween candy. Not a fan of licorice, so happy to hear I'm not hearing you say Anise. & 100% agree on the lids- the quality should reflect that of a candle retailing for $30. Snapple 🤣 Hope the shop does another cheap shipping promo. Would LOVE to see a moss heavy halloween candle
I was excited for Spooky Vanilla, but wanted a dark, true vanilla. Does he have to put caramel in every vanilla scent?
To me, on cold, it smelled like apples and hay. I like it. I thought it was unique.
Too big a piece for me and the decals are not very nice. The roof damage areas should have been painted a different color. The decals, the roof, no felt or other bottom protection, and paint issues shows they could have done better for the price. Should have included a Halloween candle of your choice. Nice review though!
So totally not worth it to me, stuff is getting shabbier and more expensive - not a good thing. Have you heard anything about Kringle re-stocking halloween???? SOOOOO wanted cemetary lane and missed it.

Great review. As a collector of his houses, both Xmas and Halloween, I passed on this house. I did get the skull pedestal though and it’s spooky and great! I also have all of bbw’s skulls but the Homeworx skull is my favorite, the detail on the pedestal i’m Really impressed with. Thinking about getting a second one.
I think Spooky Spider Cider is a repackage of Spiced Gingersnap which came out as part of a Christmas TSV set of three, 3-wick candles a few years ago. It was in the red glass.
I ordered Witches Spell and Spooky Spider Cider from the HomeWorx website. Wicked Cherry arrived yesterday from the Q. None of them impressed me on cold sniff. I’ll have to burn them to see.
I almost ordered the haunted house until I noticed that a candle didn’t come with it, for me the house looks like it was painted by a child, looks very cartoonish to me, I think without a candle the house wasn’t worth it, to me anyway… I picked up 2 of the spooky spider cider from TJmax, on cold it smelled amazing but burning it was very light, I had to put it in the hurricane to pull out the wicks are very thin and all I get is cider scent that’s it, so the second candle I end up returning I’ll use up the one I’m burning but not happy with it
I was just in TJMaxx and they had SSC, Banana Maple Pancakes, Golden Harvest, Farmstand Pumpkin, and Pumpkin Woods. Nice to smell in advance and $16.99 is the best price and no shipping wait. To me SSC was light even on cold and the wrap is nice but not that attractive. Farmstand Pumpkin was the best to my nose with Golden harvest a close second. FP and PW the most attractive as far as labels.
My Homeworx house and Witches Spell should be coming today..SO excited.I am using the Wicked Cherry right now...It reminds me of Votivo Red Currant......I noticed the base being wrong on instargam.. It does make me chuckle when they present items wrong on QVC too.... This time they had it right on QVC but when the have something wrong I talk to my screen and say that isn't right and my family asks who am I talking to........LOL..I did buy the BBW house because I love the cottage theme....It is a very heavy and detailed piece...I did use the 30% off or I would not have bought it....I LOVE it for the design but it is set up a little different than the others...It holds a 3 wick lifted up on ceramic legs....the single wick sits right on the bottom...I like the single wick because that provides the most light....It doesn't really illuminate that well with this design and using a three wick which I would take a star off if I were rating it but I feel it is a more substantial piece compared to the lighter ceramic that Homeworx produces....This year all the companies put me in the poor house with their offerings...lol
I usually put a string of fairy lights in my haunted houses. It makes them light up so much better because I can position the lights close to the openings.
@@ohscheisse2192 I may do that....I have some crappy fairy lights so I need to invest in a better set with a remote or a timer so I don't have to turn them on and off manually..I usually like using my luminara candles with the remote in my Homeworx houses but they won't fit in the BBW house..Thanks for sharing your ideas.
I picked up the haunted house luminary and skull pedestal from Q. Then ordered the spooky scene pedestal, witches spell and haunted woods from homeworx site. I dont really like either of the candles on cold sniff. I hope they grow on me while burning! The labels are beautiful though!
I’ve only been able to grab banana maple pancakes at home goods. So far I love it burning. I’m very hesitant with ordering more from homeworx but I’m keeping my notes with how the new ones are burning before I buy more.
I found Pumpkin Woods yesterday at Marshall’s. The bottom says Fragrance Notes. However the notes are different than the original one I have left. Odd because it smells exactly the same. So why they changed the notes listed??? Who knows…. Lol 😂
What does pumpkin woods smell like? Is it pumpkin scented? Woodsy? I’m thinking it smells like a Smokey pumpkin but I’ve heard it doesn’t smell like that

I just got my haunted house yesterday. Put 2 flameless candles in it so it runs all day on timers. Love it
That is how I like to use my Homeworx houses so I can put them on my book shelves and not worry about a fire.
I bought the skull pedestal from bbw and it's awesome!! I didn't realize until I got it home and turned it on that it has a motor that blows the glitter while the light is on. I love it! It was worth $47.
I had to order 2 Halloween houses. Every time I get a ceramic it’s either chipped or the top doesn’t match the bottom. Hoping for a good one. I got witches cauldron, wicked cherry, and the Halloween candy one from QVC. So far, on cold sniff, I don’t like the witches cauldron or the wicked cherry. Halloween candy smells questionable. I do love the labels though. Harry’s candles are not showing up at my HomeGoods or TJ Maxx in columbus ohio.😢
I can’t believe how many Homeworx candles are at Home Goods. They have tons of Spooky Spider Cider. I picked up Basket of Apples, Farmstand Pumpkin and Golden Harvest from there the other day. I love the Witches’ Spell label but I’m one of those who smell black licorice….yuck. I’m going to give it a chance and hope for the best. 🤞

I agree with you about the lids on those particular candle .. I ordered witches spell and haunted woods.. as soon as I open the lid on The witches spell candle all I could smell is black licorice and I hate black licorice.. The Haunted woods candle smell a little on the floral side to me.. those two particular candles are a one and done for me..As far as the fall candles I love all of those so far.
I bought the haunted house luminary. It’s hit or miss with the painted pieces. I was relieved that mine, which also had a couple of painting flaws, was acceptable. I haven’t bought any of the new Halloween candles yet because I already had Haunted Woods, Magic Potion and Black Magic. Witches Spell sounds good though and would be the one I’d go for.
Ordered the witch one & spooky cider. Got the witch one but on the other they sent wrong candle so now have to ship back and wait again for spooky cider to be resent.
I just got Wicked Cherry and its pretty deep ,I can't even explain it lol. Its very much a Halloween scent! I also got the Skull and he is gorgeous 💀🖤🧡

I like the Homeworx skull pedestal better than the BBW one. Their single wick skull pedestal is the same price as HW skull pedestal but bigger and looks better to me. So I think pricing is pretty comparable if you like candle accessories. I'm ok with not getting the pieces with a candle, but agree it would be nice if pricing was a little cheaper.
I can’t wait for mine to arrive, I think it’s a great piece!
