This is the equivalent of having one brute force damage dealer and a horde of support. It’s not about working together. It’s about making sure Bakugo can do his thing
He actually did that way back im cavalry battle, remember using asido to slide and sero to maneuver and using his own quirk to go boost his team. He bodied monoma .
I love how most of Class B is focused on Bakugo's rash personality and have completely forgotten that he's the guy that took 1st place at the sports festival.
8 character analysis let’s go! Class A- Bakugo: He mainly had character growth and is taking All-Might’s words to heart. Getting a bit sacrificial too…for the better or worse. And the hilarious symbolism that Deku has never been in his way at the end there, he is the only one holding himself back. But this was still a huge demonstration of power from him. Not just because this is winter which is the WORST condition for someone who needs to sweat a lot to be at his best, look what he did!!! Even without gauntlets! He didn’t ONCE have strain on his arms, and his blasts were bigger than ever and his speed was absurd! X-catapult is an extension of Howitzer Impact. Instead of increasing his own velocity at a crazy rate, he is increasing OTHERS too. Which is always fun. Definitely broke Jack Mantis by slamming him that hard against the wall to leave a crater with no explosion. He is not recognized as stronger than Iida and Todoroki, but his better balance does give him an unknown edge over them. Same as Deku. Bakugo is just more instinctive trying to incorporate strategy a touch more. The only way I can see him going past what he’s demonstrated on a different level now is making explosions from his feet so he gets hands free flight. We now know that because his hands are occupied to fly, there are those few that can take advantage of that if they are fast enough. Sero: This guy is a now a threat. Power and speed was always fine for him, but he REALLY needs strategy. And BOY did he show it. He doesn’t have spider sense so he REALLY needs to plan how he uses his tape. Still not a class powerhouse but I might be able to say he belongs in the top half. His plan for Lizardy was excellent. I don’t see how he can improve his quirk either. Maybe instead of trapping, he creates a method of movement no one else has by making walkways for his teammates in unpredictable places. Jiro: This girl can now differentiate little pieces of flesh all over the place. She just needs range and subtlety, and that’s pretty much all she works on. And that sound wave attack has no downside either so she’s a SERIOUS threat. Hopefully she can get an item that prevents people from making so much noise it hurts her. Because there’s no real way to overcome that weakness with quirk training. Sato: this guy….is a permanent sidekick. I love how he gets power boosts and it’s great he never had a cognitive failure and didn’t make a brute force mistake he made against Cementoss, but his usage we saw, I REALLY don’t see how he can improve. Being stronger and faster just are not enough for this guy. He’ll never gain the power and speed to surpass anyone else, so he needs to join the Kendo group. He has to be a strategist and martial artist to compensate that his quirk just won’t be what makes him a good hero. And right now he’s not really either. I like him but damn is this poor boy shafted in the sea of potential of these 40 kids. Class B- Lizardy: That quirk is RIDICULOUS. And it was pretty unaffected by BAKUGO explosions to the detached flesh. She can completely surround foes as ONE person. And can do it at long range. Mudman may be the strongest Class B, but she DEFINITELY is close with that absurd versatility. Plus she flies and only takes damage to her main body! Why doesn’t anyone bring that up more?! If she can learn how to hold objects even with those tiny pieces she will be freaky. I can’t even begin to imagine how one improves this one. Welder: So at 1st I thought nothing of him. But he stopped a MOVING Bakugo, by welding what was it? At least 4 cylinders to walls and the gauntlets in completely different places? In the time it took BAKUGO to pass through that little gap?! I honestly didn’t think there was another speedster in Class B other than Vantadark. But that was SERIOUSLY impressive. If he can weld things he MIGHT be able to melt them and mold things he DOESN’T carry. He would be top tier for a VERY minor role he has had. Jack Mantis: This guy is scyther. I see it no other way. But I think this guy’s training is lack luster. You’d think he’d have close range down to a science, but he just keeps his distance and focuses on disarming. He might be being kept from learning more important strategies for his quirk because it’s too dangerous. But if he can grow blades all over, what if he grew them like a wingspan? If it’s shaped right and he can move it right, it would hurt, but he MAY be able to fly or glide for short times. That could help him out. And maybe he can shoot his blades out. DEFINITELY dangerous to learn, but NOT teaching him could lead to more trouble than it’s worth for him down the line. Glue guy: This is the 2nd 7 foot person that is ALL quirk. No muscle. Just quirk. Manga is the same. These 2 could be freaking hulk like at their size! But he caved instantly, doesn’t seem like he knows how to run, and just didn’t have ANYTHING beyond his 1st attack. I seriously have NO idea how this guy performed REMOTELY well against this team. This guy may be even LESS impressive than Aoyama. This guy is truly a weak link in this class. There is SO much he has to learn. And even though he was weaker, he was left on his own! HOO boy.
As I’m sure a lot of you have realized, these comments are prepared PRETTY far in advance. I analyze THE CRAP out of this series, and it kinda needs to be done IMMEDIATELY if I want to share the ideas and touches I see.
i was super excited to see Bakugo throw Zamber into a loop. She recovered quickly her Quirk must be evolving. soon she will become too powerul and become Zamber for all.
You know what’s funny? Vlad king said it didn’t even take five minutes, and I was like it didn’t even take half an episode. The other mock battles were at least two episodes
Their are a lot of blade quirk users in this show. It’s the third one so far. We had that Moonfish villain in season 3, the one Red Riot beat in season 4, now we have this guy.
I was only 2 Minutes in, and started alredy questioning if we watched the same show. Bakugo alredy learned "humility" when All Might lost his powers xD (Actually, even as soon as entering UA) His way of speaking might be harsh, but he has alredy shown quiet often that he is a good leader for a team. Why do you think his 3 man team of Kaminari and Kirishima is pretty much always succesfull when we see them? XD
That he is that he is everyone thinks he ignores the advice people give him but he doesn’t he’s learning adapting his goal hasn’t changed but his method to achieve it has
Bakugo has eaten nothing but humble pie since starting class at UA. But he's learned from it and bettered himself. He just hides it very well under all his bravado.
Why does everyone say Pinky and Uraracka arne't the best? Control gravity and being able to melt medal are STRONG Quirks. And while Mineta's supposed to be a "quirky" character, his Quirk has already be proven to be not one to underestimate
To be fair, Minas quirk is hard to controle which makes it less efficiant. You don't really want to melt your team mates or oponents in a fight after all XD
@@aniflowers1998 I question whether her acid can actually melt people. We've never seen it used on an actual person's skin so we don't know what would happen. If you're thinking "How would it not work if it can melt metal or that one villain's hair in the movie", quirks work in mysterious ways.
I love Monoma so freaking much! Him in the next few episodes is so good! He will make a great hero when he graduates, DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE MY PRECIOUS BOI!!!!
It’s so cool when someone who has insane energy like Bakugo learns how to channel it toward a group they’re leading. The group’s confidence and ability spiked insanely hard after he confidently said “no one will question our victory… because OUR match is gonna be flawless. 4-0 and no injuries.” You could see them getting hyped. That energy is contagious. It’s such a rare and powerful leadership quality.
Not ready for humility did you forget about the first fight that him and deku had in season one or when he failed his provisional license exam in season 3 😂😂
I mean even momo said the only reason Deku won in their training exercise was because it was training and not real life and Bakugo didn’t pass his license because he’s rude which will never really change
Bakugo finally working with others is because he learned his lesson during his exam against All Might. He realized he wants to win more than he cares about his own pride, and given that he’s pretty clever, he knows when he needs help now that he’s paying attention to that weakness if his. If he were any less smart, he’d probably need to let go of his pride altogether in order not to make a mistake in judgement somewhere down the line, coloring his judgement with pride in a crucial moment, causing a fatal mistake. However, he’s a wuick thinker, and peobably has a level of attention to detail to rival Izuku’s (albiet not to the same level). At least, that’s my personal analysis of his character growth.
The fandom have debated whether or not Monoma can copy One For All or not for quite a while, as well as the outcome. All Might said that One For All cannot be stolen, but that's a bit vague on if copying it counts as stealing it or not. I've seen people argue both sides. I'm wondering which you think it is.

Honestly, Bakugo surprised me with his newfound ability to work with his team members. Like he said, “save people to win, win to save people”

what surprised me most was that he admitted he might need help, and asked for help.
