Russia will prevail. The Soviet Union will be stronger for it. I hope one day America becomes influenced by its idea. If we do, there may be less of a need to politically torture the opponent, which often results in the torture of citizens. Lol. Let's just hope one day were won't be a need for that.

When people from the outside ask "if the economy is tanking, why aren't the people revolting?" and get the response of that the revolt would be crushed with an iron fist and the families of the revolters would be under danger, is the same reason why many russian soldiers who want to quit, don't.
I respect this man, for this is true bravery (reminds me of that one picture from WW2, where a crowd was giving the n@zi solute, but one man wasn't); change begins with one man.

Putin has the same brainwashed supporters that a certain former POTUS here has. No one will believe anything negative said about the man or his actions. They see Putin as the man that will make Russia great again, just as the Germans in 1930's Germany saw Hitler as their divine savior. All this macho bravado in politics always ends up with yours sons returning home in coffins with zero gains for the aggressor. The days of warring on your neighbors to take land is over. Too bad Putin is too stupid to realize this fact. He was convinced the US had become this powerless leaderless paper tiger that retaking Ukraine would be a walk in the park and earn him cheers from Russians who felt betrayed by Gorbachav. The parallels with Hitler are frightening. Hitler only invaded Poland because Chamberland showed weakness and a few of the British elite backed Hitler's racist visions. Sounding familiar?

under the rule of autocratic regimes like Russia, military service memebers don't get the privilege to write down letters of resignation themselves, a military service member sends a request for it that's all, the military administration makes letters of resignations in favor of the regime, in other words the military administration makes sure to distort the main reasons that made a service member seek resignation, in case of this Russian military officer who is against the war in Ukraine, the military adminstration won't mention it " antiwar " in his letter of resignation, they will write down he failed to adapt with military life, he failed to live up to the spirit of military life ...period!

So obviously we thought that as well. Only after failing to find them did we realize that they didn’t. Regardless, it was a horribly fought war because of all the outrageously STUPID MISTAKES that were repeatedly made. Such as firing the entire Iraqi military personnel, firing all of the country’s police force, allowing the country’s national museums to be looted, arresting and abusing Iraqi’s and torturing them in the prisons. Need I go on? We created an insurgency where none would have ever existed simply because our government mistreated the Iraqi people. We treated them all like the criminals that they weren’t until they actually were. Be careful of what you wish for because you might just get it. This is what happens when military decisions are made in Washington by elected leaders instead of military personnel on the scene. After leaving so many people without a pay check so they could support their families, what were we expecting them to do??? We had and still have the ability to easily defeat nearly any adversary on Earth. But to do so requires real commitment by the President and other elected leaders. We didn’t have that in Iraq OR Afghanistan. Especially during the Obama administration. Instead we sent troops over to do nothing but hold the line. We needed to employ far more aircraft in Afghanistan than we did. Our military built temporary bases at the base of mountains were the Taliban could get above and shoot down into those bases, making the base walls completely useless. It was one fiasco after another. I served in the military from 1983 - 2003. We did everything that my training during that time had repeatedly told us NEVER TO DO.

It's blatantly obvious the US and its puppet states UK and the EU etc., are using Ukraine as a proxy for regime change in Russia. Zelensky was elected on a platform which included implementing the Minsk agreement. But he was threatened with death by the far-right if he did implement it. When he said he was ready to start peace negotiations, the US, UK and EU didn't want peace. They gave Ukraine more money and weapons to keep the war going. Following his visit to Ukraine, the EU’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, tweeted: “This war must be won on the battlefield.” Solid evidence the EU does not want a peaceful, negotiated settlement. Like the UK, the EU is a puppet of the corporate controlled US, so no surprise but utterly shameful. The EU is now NATO’s ‘economic department’. US, EU sacrificing Ukraine to 'weaken Russia': former NATO adviser Jacques Baud. There's no profit in a peaceful world for the US merchants of death and destruction.
