Yeah it's kinda old school, I like it man! Suits the neon 😎
I really appreciate that. I honestly like how it looks as well. Thanks so much for watching and showing support 🤝💙
that cold start is so satisfying. my jdl uel headers and fp/op combo is on the way and i’m about to order my tune from boosted performance 🙌🏼
I definitely love the way the car sounds. I sometimes miss the loud cold starts, but it honestly sounds perfect right now in my opinion. Your JDL UEL Headers and FP/OP combo should sound absolutely amazing. Boosted performance definitely knows their stuff when it comes to tuning these cars, and I highly recommend going with them. I am actually planning on buying the flex fuel kit and getting a E85 tune from them soon 👀
@@Justinackerman_ do itttttt man after all that you you def gotta get it on a dyno and see where the numbers are. I keep seeing headers + tune add an extra 20-30 hp but w e85 as well, shit you might be at high 200’s at the wheel 👀
That’s the plan homie! I hoping to do exactly that 💪 Gonna try and get it done asap been wanting too for a few months now. This car stuff can just get expensive dude 😅
@@Justinackerman_ facts 😂. Can’t wait to see the updates!
I will definitely make a video installing the flex fuel kit, and then how to flash the new tune and filling the car up with E85 for the first time.
The little Subi stars are a nice touch
Haha yes for sure! I honestly didn’t think it looked to good at first, but it has started to grow on me a lot more. I like how it matches with the white wheels. Thanks so much for watching Conner 🤝💙
I have seen a lot of cars with this type of livery before, never on a new BRZ though. I like the look of it Justin. Nice video ❤
Yeah this style livery has been around for years. A lot of different vehicles run them. I mostly see them on Drift vehicles. I thought it would look pretty cool and stand out with the white wheels that I have on the car which is why I decided to try it out. Thanks for watching, It means alot to me that you enjoyed the video 🤝💙
ohh shiit that looks awesome man!!
Thanks so much for the support fam, I think it looks really awesome as well. I appreciate you for watching and showing love 🤝💙
Now you just need a Hula Girl for the dash!
Haha I’ll keep that in mind! Thanks so much for watching 🤝💙
Looks good 👍
I really appreciate your support, glad you enjoyed the video 🤝💙
Nice little livery, definitely adds a flair. Currently wrapping my Raven 86 and it’s been a stressed mess
For sure! Not super overwhelming, but still enough for you to notice. I would like to maybe wrap the 86 a different color, but I just love how the Neptune blue looks so much. What’s been the hardest part so far with wrapping your Raven 86?
@@Justinackerman_ the doors, I couldn’t remove the door handle due to the keyless entry sensors, so I had to wrap around them, wrapping the handle themselves were tough too. So far I have yet to wrap the bumpers and I’m hoping it won’t give me a hard time. Especially the vents on the front bumpers
@ScreamyBean42 I’ve heard a few people have similar experiences with not being able to remove the door handles. Some people have said there is a method where you push them in and slide them towards the rear end of the car and they should pop out, but I’ve never tried that myself and have no idea if that’s works. I’ve heard the bumpers being also kinda difficult. I wish you the best of luck, send me some photos on Instagram of when you get fully finished with wrapping yours. I’d love to see how it turns out. Thanks so much for watching and supporting 🤝💙
looks really good man 👍
Ayyy im so glad you thought so. Like I said in the video, i didn’t think I would like it in the beginning, but it really stayed to grow on me the father i got into the install process. Thanks so much for watching and showing support 🤝💙
Looks good!! just saw some of your vids really like the content!! Just subscribed keep up the good work really looking forward for more!
Hey Carlos, I really appreciate you taking the time to check out the video, and to support me and my channel. I means so much to me 🤝💙
Oh my goodness😍🔥
Bro it turned out awesome!!!
Overall looks pretty good. Would you consider putting more decals on it? Like brands that you have installed on your car.
Thank you for the kind words and suggestions. I would consider doing something like that, I don’t know how that would look so the livery I installed. I feel like that would be better for a more track style orientated car. Maybe sometime in the future…
Good videos
Definitely! This wasn’t to hard of a process, more just a time consuming one 😅. I definitely didn’t do a perfect job installation the vinyls, but still turned out pretty good. Thanks so much for the support, it truly means alot to me 🤝💙
It looks pretty good. 👍
How did you know how to match the other side?
Thank you for the support, as for how i matched both sides up. I am kinda a perfectionist so I legit went back and forth walking from one side of the car to the other to see exactly where i laided the passenger side decal down at, so I could try and match and pair it on the drivers side as well. Nothing too special just kinda guessed and hoped it looked good. Like I said I was just trying this look out anyways, I don’t know how long I plan on even keeping it on my car. I appreciate you for watching and checking out the video 🤝💙
If I did this to my car I think I would mess it up. I’m actually getting a Civic Type R this week and will probably do this to it, but not a 💯% sure I will.
Oh wow congratulations, civics are amazing vehicles. Which model Type R are you planning on getting, I personally like both the 10th Gen and the 11 Gen. I’m alittle biased just because my brother has a 10th Gen SI
It’s a 10th Generation and has only 17k miles. Just went to checkout yesterday and it was pretty neat. This is actually my first manual transmission car. Don’t know how to drive a manual much, but someone I know will teach me. Hopefully everything works out well.
I know it will man! Things like driving manual takes practice, especially in a car you just got. My 86 was my first ever manual vehicle I’ve owned. I already knew had to drive before hand, and have had some experience in a few other cars but I was able to get right in my 86 and start driving it. The civic is a great example of that. My brother Jordan’s 10th Gen SI was his first ever manual car as well. Within a week he was already fully comfortable with driving it anywhere on the road. It’s just a matter of how much seat time and practice you get when you first get the car and then it’s simple after, that’s when you can start having some fun driving fast and getting faster at changing gears.
Theres my man
You already know! Every Sunday BABY 💪 (I hope at-least) 😂
I honestly think it didn’t turn out to bad, and I kinda like it. I’m not sure how long I plan on keeping it on my 86, but would consider doing it again in the future.
Do your side markers also emit white light? On mine, you could choose either(with a little extra wiring for the white light, you should check that out. Car looks amazing but would look better with the white during night/dusk(imho obv).
Unfortunately thats something my side markers aren’t able to do. That is definitely something I’d highly consider doing or purchasing for my 86. Getting a set of white bulbs or switching out the side markers themselves and getting a set of clear taillights would look so nice on the Neptune blue. Thanks so much for watching and for the suggestions. It means so much to me 🤝
How difficult was the install on a scale of 1-10? I would get a livery for my car but I feel like I wouldn’t be able to put it on.
Honestly I don’t have much experience with installing decals. This is kinda like wrapping a car. If I had to rate it on a scale from 1-10 like you mentioned I would probably give it a 5 or 6. I wouldn’t say it’s a hard job, it mostly just time consuming. As you saw, I had to individually cut out each piece to lay it on the car. Certain people have different install methods, I felt this was the best way to put them on imo. I would recommend a livery, you could always try out one of the cheaper options, and if it’s something you like. You could then purchase one of the more expensive, and custom made liveries for your car. I hope this was able to help you out, thanks so much for watching the video 🤝💙
wheel spec? looks sick
Hi there! The wheel specs are 18x9.5+38 and the tires are 245/35/18’s in order to run this spec you will need aftermarket suspension. I went with BC Coilover’s (BR SERIES) I hope this could help answer your question, thanks so much for watching and supporting 🤝💙
❤🔥 I really like
Going into this I didn’t know how I would feel about it. Especially with it only being $40 compared to a lot of other liveries that are a lot more money. I think it turned out pretty cool, thanks so much for checking out the video and showing support 🤝💙
