This trilogy is the greatest romance story ever. It shows the change in relationships over time from the naive and whimsical innocent beginnings to the difficulties that couple face in maturation after having been together so long. It shows the honeymoon stage as well as the work it takes to consciously fight and chose your partner even in difficulties. A lot of romances make the beginnings magical but never discuss what happens after, I think this series does a great job of it and helps us appreciate the stages of love as well as the realities required of a relationship.
Sometimes I wish that as well. But well, maybe you will slowly forget about the film because of the pressure of working in Dunder Mifflin and at your farm simultaneously. Must be a hectic life.

I love this trilogy so much because it doesnt show love as flowery or alls well in the end. It portrays the sort of conversations and emotions that I imagine having or going through myself when I am in love. So this is quite beautifully put, Alex.
Exactly! The characters mature over the course of the almost 3 decades that the trilogy covers. Their priorities and how they see love changes with age. Its really perfect
I'm just a teenager but this, this is the kind of relationship I desire to have when I grow maturely... the way you talk with your partner about almost everything, just honest, truthful, raw conversation with them, it's a really big deal for me. I think relationship with physical touch bonding is really important, but having a mental and verbal bonding with your partner sounds everything to me, having deep communications with them, sharing each other's thoughts, and getting to know each other well is really important.

The way that this story was made by Richard Linklater (director), based on a love story went through when the girl was 20 and he was 29. We're in the bar with friends. There's drinking, people laughing, whispering, some smoking. I'm in boyfriend jeans, black boots, leather jacket, hair done in my back, minimal makeup. There's a makeshift stage, the musician comes on with his guitar, the lights dim a bit to create intimacy. People look toward the stage a bit intrigued, seeking out the change that comes in the room, the musicians starts to play. Its mellow, we don't quite know his mellow tune, he's droning on about music in you and tell me whys, we're not fully listening but then we look across the table at each other and IT happens. IT happens, we don't know quite what but we just look at each other while the music plays, a small smile grace my lips, I look down them back up and you're still looking at me. I blush and then I'm holding your gaze looking right back at you and we both feel it. Something intangible that tugs our energies closer to each other and for the first time we're truly seeing each other, truly seeing the beauty in the other, or perhaps finally and silently admitting what we've both known all along. The musician keeps droning about lips touching and the apocalypse and our moment cements. We looked toward the musician as his words captivate us and the moment we just shared all the while sneaking furtive glances at each other. This has just become our song.Too late to pretend otherwise now, we both know. He finishes, the lights come back on but we're now different people to each other. The possibilities are there.
It was my last day in Paris. He was there abroad for the summer. We first met on the metro. There was this ease to our conversation and when It was time to part ways I asked him if he wanted to get off at my stop with me. He said yes. We walked and talked for hours. He told me about his family and his studies and I told him about my travels and my friends. It was only us. Two strangers one city on beautiful moment. He bought a bottle of wine and we lay under the eiffel tower discussing the ways of the world. I asked him about his writing and he showed me one of his poems and oh my god. I swear in that moment I fell in love. I had never experienced such pure beauty and simple connection before. We shared our first kiss under the eiffel tower. From then onward, we spent the next 24 hours together. We climbed the steps of the Sacré-Coeur and watched the sunset from the top. We got gelato (lots on gelato) and walked until it melted and our hands were sticky. We sat in the park and told stories of little apartments with little people inside. We walked up and down cobblestone streets, sneaking kisses when we thought no-one was looking. We spent every minute together and everything was so effortless and simple. But there was this constraint of time hanging over us. My last day in Paris. I would train back to london and then fly back to America and we would most likely never see each other again. But I tried not to think about that, at least until my train had to leave. It hurt the most kissing him goodbye. But I like to think that this is not the last time we'll see each other. that somewhere out there there's a version of us that exists. and version of me that never got on that train and a version of him that would have never let me leave in the first place. Or maybe there's a future. I have a feeling this isn't the end of us and Paris. Home is where the heart is. xx
This is so beautiful. I hope that this isn't the end of you and Paris as well, with all my heart. Till then, let the memories keep you warm. Take care ❤️
@@Aquamous The whole story is nonsense. Paris is filled with "newcomers" that will pickpocket and attack you anywhere near the Eiffel tower or the Sacré-Coeur. Also, on the trains and stations. It's so bad military personnel are everywhere walking around with machine guns. Not that they ever do anything to stop the crime. They are only authorized to do anything if a terrorist attack breaks out. Otherwise, you are on your own. Been to Paris many times over the past 20 years, this fanciful story - which copies before sunset - is created by someone who's never even been to Paris.
The kinda romance that I yearn for! None of the real world bothering the two of us, just like Jesse and Celine had a beautiful relationship- indeed a poetry. Makes me wanna crave for a relationship like this. A relationship where both of the individuals are not being judgmental in any ways. This is a masterpiece. And bravo! This is a wonderful edit
If there's any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know, it's almost impossible to succeed, but... who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt.
I am sure you are right, and as Haruki Murakami wrote, “If you can love someone with your whole heart, even one person, then there's salvation in life. Even if you can't get together with that person.”
I love this movie so much. BEAUTIFUL is an understatement, it's so much more than that. I like the fact that it's not just kisses and romance, this movie is incredible I cannot emphasise much.💫
That's because other romantic movies focus more on the comedy, drama or aplump of love. Not Before Sunrise. It's all about the intimacy of getting to know someone. The connection therein. And how magic happen in those seemingly small mundane moments. A masterpiece.
Midsummer, Hong Kong - some time ago. I was chatting w/ a female friend of mine and when I realized our tastes were similar I sent her this song, suggesting she give it a go. Well that led to many other discussions, including our love for film. I smile, thinking of the hour conversation we had just about Before Sunrise specifically. Those humid, late summer days and nights with her.. I recall it all w/ a mixture of fondness and wistfulness. One particular late night - it was past 3 am. City still dripping - a rainstorm had passed earlier that evening. I'm going home, after having hung out with her for 8 hours. 8 hours that felt like 30 minutes. I walked blissfully through the humid cityscape of Hong Kong, listening to this... having a holy shit moment realizing the amazing connection we had, on every level. Someone so beautiful inside and out.
listening to this clip at the first time... It's a quiet night, I'm siting on my bed looking at the sky, just me and the full moon Probably i won't remember this day in a couple of years. But I certainly will miss nights like that
The best thing about this trilogy was their conversation that was so lit they were great listeners n agree to disagree with each other which I love the most. This movie is my all time favourite love the way it's so simple yet extraordinary!

That's the beauty isn't it. That underneath all the clutter of social media, it's really a place for us to connect, if we allow it to. ❤ Keep making more "stupid" videos ☺ we're watching.
If you make the videos with the intention of honoring the beautiful feelings that this song can stir up then no, they're as far from stupid as anything can be.
Before Sunrise and the Before Trilogy movies in general are one of the most sincere and touching boy-meets-girl movies ever made. While "Rebel Without a Cause" and "Say Anything" deliver nice portrayals, this movies strips down useless subplots and any general movie divergences. This movie focuses purely on watching the budding of a beautiful romance. You never doubt for a second that the film will lead towards the romantic pairing of these two people. You almost immediately sense the synergy and the chemistry between Jesse and Celine, and it is simply pure joy to watch them find it. This movie is mostly all dialogue -based. But, every conversation between these too is greatly intriguing. What makes this pairing so romantic is how real it is. How in all that conversation, while often having no real bearing on anything critical, you can sense the nuances as these two become more fond and trusting of each other. This is exactly they way you would dream that you meet that special someone. And what makes it so true is that it is not even too fantastic to believe. This could be what would happen if you had been confident enough to strike up a conversation with that person you noticed somewhere random. And what puts the icing on this film is the magnificent backdrop of Vienna in which this film takes place. It just adds to the feeling of romantic nirvana that the film suggests. And no matter how many times I watch this film, I don't think I will ever tire of that. Finally, would like to say kudos to the editor. Well crafted work.A smooth pairing of scenes with one of the best bands around: cigarette after sex. Bravo! Brilliantly crafted
Every word you spoke is a reflection of me in my post college life in Cambridge/medford/Brighton time in Boston. Fleeting times I thought would last much longer. Before I knew it, they turned into the reality that is adulthood, responsibility and planning for the future of my children and my own inevitable retirement. Never truer words were ever spoken in memory. Thank you.

First movie: they meet, fall in love Second movie: they remeet, rekindle their love, stay together Third movie: they make their life together, it's hard, not how they thought it would be, sometimes ugly. But also beautiful, tender, fullfilling and, most of all, it's real. Love isn't a fairytail

"Memories and thoughts age, just as people do. But certain thoughts can never age, and certain memories can never fade." -- The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, Haruki Murakami :)
That is the exact emotion I felt after I saw the movie as well as this edit for the first time. Not the first or the last time that I've felt that. I suppose making us feel this is what good art is about.
The fact that his description is so good than his music taste is fuxking amazing. What a person you would be to be able to say it in such a gentle way.
My boyfriend just sent me this song. This and sunsetz will forever be our comfort song. I have bipolar disorder and it gets so hard to exist sometimes. My mood has really been troubling us lately, I try my best but sometimes I just can't. We hung up the call, but he sent me this, and all I can think about is when we met for the first time. It was beautiful, pure, innocent and we were young. I hope I get better and be the person he deserves to be with.
The third time I ever kissed someone, I felt exactly the way I and these characters felt when they had their first kiss. We had just met that night as she was in the bunk bed above me in the hostel I was staying. Her friends sadly ditched her so she did not have any plans so I invited her to join me and my friends for a drink. After that we just got back home to the hostel and it was just the 2 of us in the whole hostel. We put some music on and ate something while listening to the music and at some point started dancing. She told me that I would be great in musicals and coincidentally the song that came up was A whole new world from Aladdin. So I grabbed her and sang a whole new world for her and danced along to it. Towards the end of the song we had this moment where we got super close to each other. The thing is up until that moment, whenever I felt like Kissing someone, I did not know how the other person actually felt and also for consent, I asked if I could kiss them. But at that moment, singing a whole new world and being so close to each other with our heads touching I just felt so sure and knew exactly what her and I were feeling. And I went in for the kiss. That night was one of the best nights ever for me because that was the first time I felt loved by someone:) not platonically at least:) love this movie and love that night.
Legendary Film. After all what happened in my life , watching this movie makes still believe in love . Big thanks to everyone worked to bring us this masterpiece . Greetings from Morocco 🇲🇦
I think Vienna is a nice setting for young romance. But when your older everything changes. Like....your most likely a loner and better off in the villages and natural settings.
It's not impossible . I have had such a connection with someone moreover our first come across which was almost like that film was incredible even if ıt looks like impossible.
I love this film with all my heart, it gives me hope talking about love, eventhough the real story has another sad ending. But this movie is so beautiful to watch, how two different souls have real connection, which is really rare to find these days
The atmosphere is always in motion in every dream pop music 💿 and u can't feel the motion unless uve held on to something like they've held on to the memory of their first meeting .

This is so beautiful and melancholic at the same time. I hope you find that person again, if that moment really meant something to you.
I love UA-cam for such stories. This is what I pay for the Internet for

Beautiful.
@@unowen7591 Aw. Thank you.
That song is absolute perfection. It relates not only to love relationships but having to say goodbye to anyone or anything you've ever loved.
He looks like one guy I was desperately in love. This video made me feel back all those moments after those years.
Hope you felt good from the rush of nostalgia. Take care :)
Such a great story but i wonder why you didn’t get his number or anything?

Omg I get those nostalgia and flashbacks of this that don't even exist in my life
Yeah thats a strange feeling isnt it? Feeling nostalgic for something you have never experienced
You've phrased it so well. Love is indeed mysterious and wholesome.
This comment and thread is beautiful to read!
this is exactly what someone said to me when we talked for the first time and i love him

I love this movie so much. BEAUTIFUL is an understatement, it's so much more than that. I like the fact that it's not just kisses and romance, this movie is incredible I cannot emphasise much.💫
The entire trilogy is incredible, imo.
@@TuhinDas Indeed 🙌
That's because other romantic movies focus more on the comedy, drama or aplump of love. Not Before Sunrise. It's all about the intimacy of getting to know someone. The connection therein. And how magic happen in those seemingly small mundane moments. A masterpiece.

Hi
It's a quiet night, I'm siting on my bed looking at the sky, just me and the full moon
Probably i won't remember this day in a couple of years. But I certainly will miss nights like that
I hope you have more nights like these.
The best thing about this trilogy was their conversation that was so lit they were great listeners n agree to disagree with each other which I love the most. This movie is my all time favourite love the way it's so simple yet extraordinary!
This crossed a Million views, woah. I always think that these videos I make are stupid and dont deserve to be watched, but I am in awe at how many people appreciate and relate to the videos. Thanks to everyone for watching, and for sharing a bit of yourself with me and others in the comments. And.... if you like this video, maybe try watching something else from the channel as well :) Take care ❤️
its one of my favourite video
That's the beauty isn't it. That underneath all the clutter of social media, it's really a place for us to connect, if we allow it to. ❤ Keep making more "stupid" videos ☺ we're watching.
Love itt
If you make the videos with the intention of honoring the beautiful feelings that this song can stir up then no, they're as far from stupid as anything can be.
i watched this film because of you. so thank you.
Thank you so much ❤️ take care :)
i love how the movie shows how they fell in love with each other by just giving us scenes where they just conversing with their hearts.
Once again fallen in love with this song

Every word you spoke is a reflection of me in my post college life in Cambridge/medford/Brighton time in Boston.
Fleeting times I thought would last much longer. Before I knew it, they turned into the reality that is adulthood, responsibility and planning for the future of my children and my own inevitable retirement.
Never truer words were ever spoken in memory.

@@rachella8065 I did. That's why I'm asking. Maybe you have a different interpretation than me.
First movie: they meet, fall in love
Second movie: they remeet, rekindle their love, stay together
Third movie: they make their life together, it's hard, not how they thought it would be, sometimes ugly. But also beautiful, tender, fullfilling and, most of all, it's real. Love isn't a fairytail

Lyrics
You leapt from crumbling bridges
Watching cityscapes turn to dust
Filming helicopters crashing
In the ocean from way above
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
You've been locked in here forever
And you just can't say goodbye
Kisses on the foreheads of the lovers
Wrapped in your arms
You've been hiding them in hollowed out pianos
Left in the dark
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
You've been locked in here forever
And you just can't say goodbye
Your lips, my lips
Apocalypse
Your lips, my lips
Apocalypse
Go and sneak us through the rivers
Flood is rising up on your knees
Oh, please
Come out and haunt me
I know you want me
Come out and haunt me
Sharing all your secrets with each other
Since you were kids
Sleeping soundly with the locket that she gave you
Clutched in your fist
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
Got the music in you, baby
Tell me why
You've been locked in here forever
And you just can't say goodbye
You've been locked in here forever
And you just can't say goodbye
Ooh, oh
When you're all alone
I'll reach for you
When you're feelin' low
I'll be there too

This is my comfort video ❤️
:)
I wish I could watch this movie for the first time again 💛
that song really fits on scenes. whenever ı watch that video ı want to feel the tranquil of the love
Such a beautiful story, Tushar. These memories are what keeps us alive, and hopeful :)

I think Vienna is a nice setting for young romance. But when your older everything changes. Like....your most likely a loner and better off in the villages and natural settings.
Hahaha. I suppose so.
It makes me so happy to see these two fall for each other it makes my soul happy if only love like this still exist in a world like this
