I recently read the book.. I am facing lots and lots of challenges, but now I can sense when I am in the box, when I am seeing others as objects.. And just because I am aware of this concept , I could resolve a conflict in a meeting at my workplace. It's amazing thank you 😇
I would just like to add two paragraphs from Emoto Masaru's book "The Hidden Messages in Water", based on the fact that human beings are 90-50% water, depending on age and care. "Water exposed to “Thank you” formed beautiful hexagonal crystals, but water exposed to the word “Fool” produced crystals similar to the water exposed to heavy-metal music, malformed and fragmented. Further experimenting showed that water exposed to positive expressions like “Let’s do it!” created attractive, well-formed crystals, but that water exposed to negative expressions like “Do it!” barely formed any crystals at all."
I've wanted to create a website for teaching each other ways of picking up on the schemes of oneself but also our 'leaders'/'entrepreneurs' whatever... for some time now.
I listened to the audiobook and found it underwhelming for such a bold title. Overcoming "self-deception" is learning how to not assume things about people and to treat them as humans just as worthy as yourself. It's nothing I disagree with but at times it felt like a dry corporate version of "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz; if you're reading this comment and haven't read the 4 Agreements yet, I would recommend you pick that up because you'll find it more meaningful and still be able to extrapolate its lessons to the work environment.

Yet another very insightful message to improve how we see and treat others...and really ourselves!
