True. I'm tired of both sides of the aisle injecting their politics into the faith. These people seem to always put politics over the faith.
I always have said I'm not voting for personality or a pastor...The office of the presidency deals with ideology and policies...So even if the candidate "professes" salvation but then turns around and promotes an ideology or policies that oppose the direction of scriptures , then I won't be voting for that person either...That's why I have no problem voting for Donald J Trump while praying for his and Kamala's salvation👍🏿👌🏽But I cant vote for Kamala because her public ideology and policy agendas opposes the scriptures and biblical wisdom ...But as soon as Trumps public policies go the direction of the left against the scriptures I won't vote for him either. ..And that is following biblical instructions - see 1 Corinthians 5:9-13....So if any candidate profess salvation but still promotes wicked ideologies or policies, then according to the scriptures I will judge them harder and NOT VOTE FOR THEM...ITS REALLY SIMPLE, But christians make it hard because they try to emotionalize and think this out by their wicked flesh instead of following scriptural instructions which guides the way we should think...
Then check his recent stance on abortion. It's not good.

Maybe this progressive pastor should ask himself if he’s been saved. At least Trump is not pretending to be what he’s not. However, both candidates, and maybe this pastor, need salvation. When deciding how to vote and those running are not Christians, vote for the one whose position is closest to those values. Hint: Not Democrats whose platform can be summed up by Romans 1:18-32.

My mom's mad at me because I don't trust either candidates to vote. She wants to me to vote for Kamala Harris and said "the Bible says you need faith". We need prayers at my house, because my mom is the type of person to treat you different if you don't do what she wants. She's pro choice also and told me a fee times she should've aborted me but since she never remembers saying stuff like this, this election is frustrating me.

Ya know what these pastors/ churches remind me of? If we (regular people) were morbidly morbidly obese, and knew we were going to die, and soon because we were so sickly and we decided to we better go to someone who can help us! Who can save us! So we go to a Dr/ nutritionist/ trainer. A person who we just know has the answers, right? Because of the position they hold! They’re head of the entire bariatrics department at the biggest hospital! Of course they know what they’re talking about! So we go to them, every week. Seeking counsel and information. And this “dr” tells us, weekly, that if we really want to be healthier and want to live, we must cut out all the preconceived ideas like “exercise and diet”. No’ we must go against everything we’ve been taught, they were all wrong. They misunderstood the research! And continues every week to tell us we must continue to eat fat, calories, sugar, & carbs because our bodies are craving that! We’re fat and dying because we’re trying to deny our bodies what they want and need. And if ya wanna move around a little? That’s fine, but do not do anything that stresses your heart or lungs or body in any way! It’s very very bad to do anything that makes your body uncomfortable! When you give your body what it wants? THEN you’ll be free from this obesity!!!!

Soooooo many people have no idea that MLK wasn’t a Christian. I believe he was a “nominal Christian”…. But yeah I was listening to MacArthur one time and I heard him say this and I had to go and look for myself and I was shocked to find that it’s true that MLK was not a Christian.

I believe it's the ancient (middle ages i believe) Trinitarian symbol used to illustrate the Triniy and the relationship between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Notice it's not just a triangle, but has circles at its points.

We used to have an older Pastor who would talk to us directly during the sermon. We are a small church and and know each other well, so it's just a nice little personal touch when a pastor can do that.

Please, give me specific statements of authentic writings or authentic statements attributed to Martin Luther King, where he denies Christ as stated in this video. I'm 70yrs old, born and live in Birmingham AL, lived in the ear of some of the Civil Rights movement, visited his church in Montgomery AL, and though I never attended his church services, this is the very first time that I've heard the statements nor reference by my mother/grandmother or other people of the civil rights generation state what was stated on this video regarding MLK beliefs. Dr. King rejected the Trinity; he called belief in the deity of Jesus Christ “harmful and detrimental”; he denied the Virgin Birth and the Second Coming; he claimed that the Bible contained spiritual insights buried under absurd “legends and myths”; he even told his congregation on an Easter morning that one’s belief about the bodily resurrection of Christ “isn’t important."

They voted to deny women access to abortion care (D&C), which could have saved their lives. Whether spiritual life (the soul entering the body) begins at conception is a religious theory. It is certitude, not certainty. And so, too, are the claims of "murder" of the unborn theoretical, certitude, not certainty. This pastor said that people were not following the "right Jesus" a lot. But I've seen conservatives do this too. Many times such claims aren't clearly unpacked. This kind of language disturbs me because it kind of sounds like gnosticism. That even if you go to church and read your Bibles, you need some kind of special knowledge to know who the "right Jesus" is. I'm not saying that is what is meant, I'm saying that is what it sounds like. I think more precise language or explaination is needed to explain what is meant. I think what is meant (whether correctly or incorrectly) is that people are breaking the second commandment. That they are worshipping God improperly. Or that they are breaking the commandment not to take the name of the Lord in vain. That they are ascribing to God characteristics that are incorrect. I think it is more helpful to say things like that, and unpack why, rather than to blanketly state that somebody is "not worshipping the right Jesus" without explaination. That begins to sound like gnostisim.

She has also visited Alfred Street about twice here in the DMV and I know you’ve done a few videos on Howard John Wesley in the past. Used to love his sermons in the past and he’s definitely gotten super progressive over the years.
