      Honestly, even if it wasn't an AA, cutting open batteries is generally a bad idea. A safer option is to use stainless steel hardware like washers and bolts. It's cheaper, and doesn't corrode as fast.

    • @cuf_
      @cuf_ Місяць тому +7

      @@EeveeTheQueen no. There is nothing really dangeorous about carbon zinc batteries, and using stainless steel is a very stupid idea as the positive electrode will fully corrode away in a matter of tens of minutes and turn the water into a toxic brown waste.

    • @EeveeTheQueen
      @EeveeTheQueen Місяць тому +1

      @cuf_ how so, explain lolllll, why does the anode specifically corrode. And yes opening batteries can expose you to toxic materials 🤷‍♂️

    I've built a few HHO generators, and I see a few issues with his design. If he's intending on producing just hydrogen, then he needs to minimize the amount of negative rods because hydrogen is produced on the positive side and oxygen is produced on the negative side also I noticed that he's not using a spark arrestor or one-way valve. When the Flaming gas backs up into that accumulator tank it's going to explode like a grenade!

    • @zenmanproject
      @zenmanproject 3 місяці тому +6

      Isn't that what that vertical tube of water is for?

    • @cuf_
      @cuf_ 3 місяці тому +9

      Umm.. hydrogen is produced on the negative electrode and oxygen on the positive not vice versa?

    • @Nitsirtriscuit
      @Nitsirtriscuit 3 місяці тому +20

      You can’t change the amount of hydrogen and oxygen produced by using more rods. They are stoichiometrically related, two liters of hydrogen must produce one liter of oxygen. Giving less surface area to oxygen production will only reduce the reaction rate overall since oxygen will have a bottleneck.

      Yo también e realizado experimentos con generadores de hidrógeno y por lo general siempre se produce el doble de oxígeno que de hidrógeno , aparte que te equivocas el diseño si cuenta con un sistema anti retroceso, o también llamado burbujeador , se nota la poca experiencia que tienes en el tema , y yo más que defectos en ese diseño lo que veo es una tremenda inspiración para un muy potente cañón , solo es cuestión de hacer unas pequeñas modificaciones para que soporte una presión mayor de ese modo se obtiene un cañón que nada tiene que envidiarle a un cañón que use pólvora esmas creo que incluso podria superarlo pues la potencia explosiva del hidrógeno es enorme

    Hello, great video and good idea to use the inert carbon core of dry cells, but you have left the welds exposed, remember to isolate all the metals inside the HHO reactor otherwise all the metal anodes will disappear and that is why the electrolyte will get dirty and the use of inert carbon cores will lose all sense, but the assembly is nice.

    I had to give up on all these DIY science experiments. I wasn't cut out for stuff like this. I remember my first attempt at something that looked similar to that but when I applied just the right amount of voltage it ripped the fabric of reality creating a wormhole that led to a weird world of people who lived there whole lives in reverse like literally everything functioned in reverse and for someone like me who never was very good at walking in reverse I got a lot of mean looks and weird sounds. I can only imagine it was something derogatory about my mother. They were very 4th grader-ish in maturity if you know what I mean. So after all that failure I wasn't fully ready to give up since my parents always told me to never give up if you fail the first time so I gave it another try and well this one didn't end up in another galaxy but on the FBI watch list. See ever since ole Einstein and Oppenheimer came up with the ole split the atom doohickey they assumed that plutonium was the best and most powerful thing to use but I guess somehow when I was making changes to my DIY gadget one of my cats shed claws got in it and once again I added the perfect amount of voltage and the reaction from a newly discovered element found only in the claws of cats was split in such a precise and obtuse angle that I know had I not plugged the plug when I did it would have completely vaporized the vast majority of the world. I was visited by "officials" if you know what I mean. Guess I popped up on their "radar" from the amount of fine tuned high grade particles being emited by my DIY science project. Didn't even know they could do that but yes yes they can and they get really mean and threatening so I was persuaded to disassemble it and never tell anyone about the secret element found only in the claws of cats. I know none of you will tell so it's cool. So yeah I gave up on DIY science experiments and stuff. Now I'm in the porn industry and finally found my true calling in life. It's been straight up ever since. If you know what I mean... "snicker in the back ground"...
    The lesson to learn is never work hard to only end up in reverse but don't give up until you're the bomb then don't let anyone take it away from you because if you never give up you'll hit the honey hole and the erection is history.. I mean the rest is history.. stupid autocorrect ...

    A cell like that isn't going to last all that long though as the materials used simply can't withstand the process of breaking the bonds of the water molecules without the water breaking them down in return. The electrodes are all going to breakdown and even the copper wire in contact with the liquid will breakdown into the solution in a short about of time. It's the reason why so many use Stainless Steel, Nickle, or Platinum, or some other material that have a high anticorrosion factor.
