"Natural Killer Cyborg" / "Porky's Pokies" | Bardometer Remix | Mother 3

Hey everyone! Been busy with a lot of irl stuff recently but I found the time to squeeze out a quick remix. Natural Killer Cyborg is honestly one of the most interesting tracks in the Mother series to me, and I had always meant to cover it at some point. Same actually went for Porky's Pokies, so I decided to just slap em together a little since they were already in the same key signature and had similar tempo. Got a lot of fun stuff planned for the future but I can't really promise how soon it'll be done because I've got even more irl stuff to deal with in the coming months. As I always say, stay tuned!

Holy heck, Bard, this is wild! Talk about a deep cut - this is an often-overlooked track from an already-niche game. And you went all-in with this, which I really admire!
The overall intensity here is off-the-charts, and you've implemented so many effects, articulations, and pitch slides that it feels like the song is constantly in flux. Much like the battles of Mother 3 can get really involved and even overwhelming at times, this remix is action-packed! It hits really strong from the get-go, with that hardcore intro, and I love the drum samples you used, and how you made it into such a heavy rock beat, like the original. And those peripheral sounds feel reminiscent of sirens or alerts, which feels fitting, given the context of when the song plays - and I love that the video is precisely timed to correlate to the music, as well! I mean, I knew you had a penchant for boss themes, given your masterful renditions of battle themes against various opponents in the Pokemon and Kirby series, but this is a different kind of sound - just really raw and cool-sounding.
The arrangement here is so good, and I feel that you have a special talent for arrangements that incorporate or hybridize various songs, while adding your own flourishes and embellishment to the original piece(s). The segue between Natural Killer Cyborg and Porky's Pokies was so seamless here, and the corresponding shift in the gameplay visuals was smooth as heck. Seriously, the vision behind this remix video is so real, and mad props to you for the superb execution.
By the way, I've been meaning to say that it's awesome that your channel has been getting so much traction lately - it's very well-deserved! Your Gerudo Valley collab has gotten such a strong response, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one really ramps up before long, too! Keep at it, my friend! 🌟
