    Very interesting - thanks for posting. I'm trying to decide between this camera/lens combo and the Sony RX10 iv mainly to document the wildlife around our farm - owls, kestrels, buzzards and numerous little brown jobs as well as insects. So I'm needing reasonable reach but decent macro performance too.
    I would be very interested in any thought you have on this choice. Thanks.

    did you handheld or using tripod?

      This was all filmed without a tripod. Most of it was shot using 60fps and reduced to 24fps in post, making it look a little smoother.

      @@haiway85 Yes, I would recommend this camera. Personally I bought this model because of the size, looks and features. You can get them very cheap now, particularly if you buy used. The main downside I found was lack of mic input, but you can easily attach an external one to the hot shoe and sort in post processing. Have a look around though as there are plenty of amazing cameras available to suit all budgets.
