    i have been searching for high resolution encoder for my diy telescope mount for ages. would this be suitable? could you guide me towards what's more suitable for this project? Thanks!

      If you use a rotary encoder, I think this is a suitable product.
      This IC is the latest and most precise among small magnetic encoders.
      This is a product that is actually applied to precise small CCTVs.
      A hollow magnetic encoder is also applied to large CCTVs.
      If you want to develop an ultra-small encoder, this is a good solution, and if you have enough space in the camera, I think it would be good to also consider an inductive encoder.
      I only uploaded a video about a linear inductive encoder, but I will upload a video about a small rotary inductive encoder next time.
