All that Beach Road work was a waste of money and always is. The beach should have been left the way it was in 2018 also. Changing the natural topography and landscape makes flooding worse
When I moved here I realized how much it actually rains. Its like 4 hour non stop extreme rain all. Never seen anything like it in the west. I don't think a normal drainage system would work they need to completely redo roads and use specialized sewers for this type of weather.
