Me watching these tours: I'm gonna go turn my island into the single most beautiful thing ever. Me working on my island: I have no idea what I'm doing.
The only idea I have is a city (London mixed with a splash of Harry Potter inspiration) while loving to use mush lamps, star fragments (mainly Nova lights). And yet I've been having trouble terraforming and having the best idea to fit the stuff I want to do. Every so often I realized I should do this instead of what I did before so it causes some iffiness of having to move buildings again. Thanks goodness for the stalk market

This reminds me of a place me and my family go in the summer, it’s a mountain with a bunch of cabins and there’s a big lake and a hiking trail, and it used to be a “fish and game club”, but now it houses a lot of summer homes!
Even islands that are not well planned look bigger than your own when you first visit. It's just beacuse you are so intimately familiar with every little part of your own island.
AAAAH! I'm getting my Switch next week and I'm planning on making a "My Neighbor Totoro" Themed Island and this gives me SOOO much inspo!! Really hope it'll turn out this good! 😍

This Island was really gorgoues and I think my favorite part was Sheps little private beach. The other parts were so creative too and the living stone beach is incredible but I just want to sit on that little private beach and read my books and eat my sushi XD

This is almost exactly what I'm going for! I live near the mountains and one of my favorite places in the world is a town in the mountains. I created my island off of that.

I've always loved animal crossing and it makes me happy that new horizons has brought in more people and more people are now fans of such a great game series. The older games never gave us opportunities to decorate our towns like this. We had flowers and trees, but that was about it. Still, I'm nostalgic towards older games and for new horizons, it's so much fun decorating my island and also seeing other peoples beautiful islands too.

Those are the Rock Head statues that you buy from Redd backwards. I got one in my inventory right now that I didn't know what to do with so I'm going to look for a place for it like this instead.
