Totally agree with you Jemma. Plus brides have so much more to contend with, lucky there is Al and Jo who truly are there for the bride to be to make them feel the way a bride should feel. Its not about the money with them its about making the bride feel beautiful for her special day. They honestly know how they feel because they have been through it themselves. I am 40+ years divorced, not much of a dress wearer, but I really enjoy watching these ladies (and the brides) They are pragmatic and kind, as well as being something of a relationship counseling service. The vast majority of commenters are kind and that, too, is nice.
I so wish you had a store like this in the U.S. I'm short and round it's so hard finding normal clothes let alone a wedding dress. Al & Jo are the best.

I don't remember ever seeing the second dress that Jo held up for her, with the gold or silver decoration on it. I'd have liked to see that one. I loved when Jo welcomed her to her appointment (after they finally got a reaction with the first dress).
I actually thought that the second dress was perfect on her. But the dress she chose looked lovely on her as well. In fact, she should have gone without the sleeve. Her arms looked nice with the off-the-shoulder design of the dress.

i dont know why people think to get married or meet someone to get thin ??!!! you get thin because you will be healther not blood pressure , no diabetes , easy walking , easy moving !!! that why ! dont do it because someone else !! do it for yourself
