Im 57 and enjoyed this so many memories😊
All about those memories, my friend!
Same!!!!❤❤
We absolutely Loved having you both and look forward to seeing you back at the shop soon 👑👍🏽
@@matthewbrandford5349 Nice to meet you Matt, its a great store with a friendly vibe, hope to come back real soon 🙏👍
Oh wow memory unlocked. I used to have loads of Mighty Max as a kid. Pretty sure that’s ‘Magus’ in this video. Used to love playing with him and Skull Island too. Good times.
Thanks man, i found out it is Magus and he's amazing! Good times indeed
Becoming one of my favourite channels to watch thank you for the great videos
That's nice of you to say! Thanks for watching
Every where we go to hunt toys there are always many things we would like to add to our collections.
Great video and makes me want to head back to the shop in Leicester 👍
Some nice finds, Joe seems like a really nice lad.
Thankyou, he is, he's fantastic
Thanks very much! X
My mate had the Ghost Busters Fire Station, he even let me drop the ooze through the floors once. He was a spoiled kid though, had everything. His Dad had his head on properly though, used to keep all the weapons and stuff,, so nothing ever got lost. If that Lad ever sold His collection, he would have been minted. I mean He had everything. All the Turtles, all the Action Force, all the Mask, all the WWF stuff. Was mental.
He also the only person I ever seen who had the Turtles, Sewer playset... I had better Mask stuff than Him though, as I had Boulder Hill, and also had the Big Oil Tanker with the rocket inside of it (I think it was from Season 3, maybe later. It was essentially the base for the baddies though) I think Mask was the only thing I had more of though, he had me beat on just about everything else.
So glad that the UA-cam algorithm sent me your way! What a proper vintage toy store tour - you had great pace and commentary! I am so tired of others that just show quick shots of the shelves and more focused on showing themselves talking down to the audience after. I loved your pickups. Great display items. Going to check out your other videos. Thanks for putting this one together!
@@UncleLesterCam Thanks for the kind words 🙏👍
Brill awesome place! I love it there! Fantastic top people too!! 👍🏻🤖👍🏻😃
Great vid; this is my favourite shop in the whole country so it’s really nice to see them getting exposure.
Amazing video and shop… take my money please… the vintage joes were calling me 💯
Really appreciate your videos...a relaxing look at so many different toy lines. Love the format. I've been getting back into collecting, and you have been part of the inspiration. Keep up the great work!
That's great! Thankyou for the kind words :)
Great video at an awesome shop. Those Barnyards are so cool maybe a future rabbit hole for me
I always love watching your vids to chill to 🎉🎉
I found this shop by accident after coming out of high cross, absolutely amazing shop👍
Thanks for a great video.Big fan of TSOT & LV&OTS so thoroughly enjoyed watching this.
@@simonley7771 Im a huge fan also, glad you enjoyed it my friend!
This shop is amazing....what a great haul! Loved it
It's a great shop and thanks for watching!
4:40 Moss Man without bald patches... nice. Wonder if He has a Skunkor that still smells? hahaha. What about that Skeleton thing that was supposed to hold the figures, but they always broke? You know the one I mean? Was like a skeletal animal, and had these clips for the figures to attach to? I got 3 of them, and they all broke and got sent back.
I also had one of those He-Man punching bags, you know the ones you fill with air, and it's kind of like a Weeble Wobble? I also broke that on Christmas day, belting Skeletor round my Grandmas House :D
Battle bones 🦴👍
What an awesome haul! The Barnyard Commandos have definitely made my short list!
They are awesome arent they? Thanks for watching 🙏
I had actual thousands of Monster in my Pocket, as a Kid. Remember the mini Boglins as well, they were very similar. My Mother still has a metallic Gold one that I gave Her, it was the one that's like a made of Candle wax. I think the Metallic ones were the chase Boglins, too. I don't know what happened to all this stuff TBF, probably got passed on to younger people in my family. I would have been sitting on a trove.
My step Dad was a nob though, TBF I wouldn't be surprised if He just binned it. He binned my Beavis and Butthead cards, would have been worth a mint now. He didn't like the fact I was growing up, and thought B&B was a bad influence, so he threw all my cards in the bin, and blamed it on neighbourhood kids (said they'd pinched them) and I fell out with 2 lads because of it. I think we all have that one d**khead in our lives as Kids though, right?
Really cool video and was a fun watch. Keep up the great work mate 👍
Appreciate that very much, we will try our best!
Shelves are stacked and stacked with some fantastic stuff. I would've grabbed those Galaxy Warrior Out of Time figures...definitely sweet!!! Thanks for the tour of the shop!
@@strashn8or716 🙏🙏🙏
Great video, I love going to that shop
Creepy crawlers was my go to, battled them with my street sharks back when.
My god this video brings back memories
Yes Wolfman!

Ghostbusters,Starwars ,M.A.S.K , centurions, wwe Hasbro ,galoob wcw had them all!!!! If only I knew then what I know now 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
What would you have picked up from Leicester Vintage Toy Shop?
@ToyOverdose I would take Joe for a pint, hes too much fun!
Fortress of Fangs play set is an amazing piece 🔥
@ Isn't it just 😍
@@OldFriend80sanytime!
I'm more into modern, but I'd be tempted by the Star Wars vehicles( The ones I didn't have as a kid.)And maybe He Man stuff , if I had the space. But I'd find it hard to spend hundreds on stuff I used to buy for a few quid.I'd rather buy a hot toy or something 3d printed.
Cool pick-ups and nice to meet up with Joe! I met him at Star Wars Celebration 🎉
@@Blackedoutewoks He's a good man, everyone should have the chance to meet Joe!
Great video, thanks for this.
No worries! Thanks for watching!
Joe what a sound guy
Great vid! I went there last month and got some great factory sealed TMNT bits
Sounds like a good haul!
I had that BA Barakus, too, I remember his socks (is that a weird thing to remember? Lol)
Love that Freddy glove! I have one from Canada with English and French! 🤘🔥
Thats a lovely piece ❤️👍
Gods I would be bankrupt in minutes if I got sight of that store. The boxed Technodrome had me drooling!
That's a cool toy!
@ToyOverdose always wanted complete collections of the TMNT and Thundercat ranges that I had as a kid in the early 90s but they are expensive now and not so easy to find espcially some of the vehicles and playsets. Getting a lot of enjoyment out of your toy hunts though, living vicariously through youtube lol
Those moo messa figures seem to be getting more and more expensive. I really love the cards they come on too
As always great energy, passion and content, I’ll be heading to Leicester
@@FelixPerez-ts3lx Thanks my friend 🙏 You wont be disappointed 🤗
8:40 Yeah Mate, that looks like Ultra Man, possibly. The Helmet looks familiar. It's definitely not Power Rangers though, as they always resemble Samurai Helmets. My Cousin had the Gen 2 Megazord as well, that came apart into the smaller Zords, it was awesome. I had a smaller diecast one that didn't come apart, was still cool though.
I think it was gen 2 at least, as it would have been late 80's, and I certainly remember Power Rangers doing the rounds a little earlier than this, too. My little Cousin used to watch it on the Morning TV, during the Summer Holidays. I remember they'd get dropped off in the Morning, and would watch Power Rangers. Was my same Cousin that was into Mighty Max. I was a little older, so didn't know about it. Thought they were great though, and ended up getting some of them myself, but I kept them boxed. Not sure what happened to them. I would have had around 5 of the small ones.
I'm on the hunt for that Thunderbird 1 😁😁
I liked and subbed before even watching as I new 100% I was going to love this, and I did. Thanks for making this video, and what an awesome shop!
@@LtdResources Wow, thats very kind words my friend, thanks. And you are 100% correct, Leicester Vintage Toy Shop is awesome!
Thanks very much!
Thank you 👍
You are welcome
I didn’t know this place existed, I live in Leicester but hardly go into town, now I definitely have to go! I also spotted the boxed Mr Frosty in the background, I remember my cousin buying that at a jumble sale - for 2 pence! Bet it’s a bit more nowadays!
@@t33na1 Thats amazing you haven't seen it before. There's lots of great stuff! Get down there 👍
Thursday-Saturday 9-4 👍
See you soon!
They don't sell them as far as I know but there is a museum at Stansted Mountfitchet castle in Essex that is full of old toys.
Wow i actually had that monster in my pocket tower. Such a great shop but i fear going in much as my wallet squeals as i enter the door. I moved from collecting to photographing and sadly the older toys are not very photogenic, haha
I remember wanting a Johnny seven back in the 60's, and still do!
Any idea how much they were?
Might be worthwhile going to Leicester 😊
Thanks for a great video - new subscriber!
@@cliffpooley930 Sorry my friend i forgot to ask. Im sure Joe would do you a deal!
Looks like a lot of nice Japanese items in the shop at the moment.
Nice to see the A-Team van without the weird grey section Mandela Effect
🤣 you break it you pay for it😂
Great video! Felt like I was right there in the store haha. You see those new Moo-Mesa figures by Nacelle by chance? Cool how these older toys are getting another chance at life
I have seen them, they look great also 😍 Thanks for watching 👍
Enjoyed that looks like a little gem of a shop & you got some great stuff , are you running out of display room yet ? 😅
I have definitely run out of room i had to move toys into the bedroom cupboards this week haha. It's a great shop really appreciate you watching!
3:32 Those Ewoks were from the Cartoon, I think. As far as I remember it was marketed more towards Girls, or at least it was suitable for both. I do remember the show, but didn't have any of the toys. I did have the proper Ewok village though.
@@D00M3R-SK8 Sounds about right, thanks for the info!
Cool video dude, great store 🤙
Thanks Aaron, appreciate that bro!
Thanks Aaron, appreciate that bro!
christmas morning overdose. ugh. my wallet hurts.
The guy you were checking out, that looked like Power Rangers is the Common Rider. Absolutely massive in Japan. Atleast... I think 😂
@@mattreid5954 Thanks bud, there's so many characters its hard to keep up 😂
I would rather go to that shop than a five star resort in the Caribbean any day
I think you are 100% correct!
Monster Munch Spokey Dokeys, you guys must have had them? Got them out the Multipacks of Monster Munch.
I would love to take all the MASK figures and vehicles
Centurions for me grail pieces I need to pick up
Great video. I would have picked up the Mego Spider-Man. I wonder how much Joe had on him?
That was in great condition too! I couldn't see a price on it
They usually go for over £100 @ but I think Spidey is one of the rarer ones
Ooh, how much is that boxed Constructicons going for, pls? 0:52
I had one of the later, reproductions. I never had the full thing though, I think I was always missing a leg. I was born in 82 though, so was a little young for first gen Transformers. I was really into them though. I remember getting one for Xmas one year that turned into a space shuttle, and a train. Took me like 3 years to work out how to do all the transformations :D hahaha.
Around £400 I believe
The wolfman from Ghostbusters i had that when I was a kid.
Was he expensive
@@johnward4978 He was a tenner! They are really well priced at moment 👍
Mad balls? I wonder how much of the popularity is down to Froggy Flips
Want Optimus prime original one as I never got as a kid and the evil knevil never got that either lol 😂..
@@scottsimpkins9993 Didnt see that at time but the Evel Knieval looks great 👌
When I was younger I had all master of the universe grey skull the lot all of the a team figures the a team van lot of Star Wars figures and space ships you just don’t think to keep them all wish I did lol
There's some truth to that all though i dont know about you, but all my child hood toys were battered 😂👍
@ lol yeah defo battered my a team van ended up with no wheels 😂being a kid you ain’t gonna think about keeping in excellent condition to sell many years later
👍👍
8:38 is a Kamen Rider also made by TOEI but not a 'power ranger' or 'Super Sentai as it would be known in japan
Thanks for the info my friend!
@ToyOverdose all good my friend, im actualy a collector of the sentai and power ranger stuff so that part stuck out for me, sadly didnt really see much in the vid but glad you got some good stuff yourself monster in my pocket really takes me back
🤘👍🍻
Have you been to the one in Reading Harris arcade called J.I.M ?
I have never heard of it! I will check it out!
@ its possibly a bit more vintage than retro. There is a couple of cool little collectibles stores in the same arcade.
Any captain Scarlett toys ?
Im sure they have some Captain Scarlet, message them on FB, link in description 👍
Apologies in advance, I’m asking any site I can for advice please. Around late ‘70s early ‘80s I remember a range of military action figures - NOT action man, action force, gi joe, little big man - they were shorter in height than action man be a few inches but were interchangeable clothing and weapons similar to action man and not solid plastic clothing as action force. Seem to remember a skiing figure in white and a desert figure too - What were they called please? Can someone help, ask around, put me in the right direction please.
@10:17 Automan!!
😂 Good spot!
Where is Leicester is this?

'dont buy him' jeez joe, you're such a salesman
