I’ve been playing since last year, the best tip I’ve learned is when you need multiple rainbow stars in one game use a rainbow star during blitz mode to clear another emoji as one already is cleared due to blitz mode to make it easier to create another rainbow star.
Joy from Inside Out is fantastic because she allows you to put a sunburst exactly where you want one. Also, once you earn the Fairy Godmother, combining her with the Sunshine boost is a great way to generate multiple rainbow stars!

best tip for beginners (well, it's two-in-one): (1) use Mickey with item-based challenges to produce more lightning bolts, and (2) secure items by swiping up/down on lightning bollts - this eliminates the entire column and brings items directly to the bottom.

I've been playing since 2017! When I was in Orlando, Florida for Star Wars Celebration. It's been great fun collecting emojis as well as leveling them up. My tips are about collecting gems and leveling up emojis! 1) Spin the Prize Wheel!! 2) Try to finish as many Daily Events as you can. Gems are sometimes awarded as well as coins. 3) If you have time, work on Item Card events as you can get an emoji when complete. Don't stress. Take your time when completing. 4) Save your gems!!!! Use them in a Diamond Box when you have none of those emojis. Don't risk if you have Gold / Silver box emojis that are NOT maxed .And don't use them to get extra keys. 5) Focus on Silver box first then choose Box I, II, III (any order). Moving on when complete. 6) Have fun!!! Don't stress. You may not get that desired emoji immediately but they will come around.
I originally played this on November 2016 through June 2018. But then I have got a brand new phone and started to play this again in November of 2019! I've made a ton of progress into this game because brand new emojis have been coming. I love this to play this game 24/7.

You should add Cleo, Honest John, Monstro and Stromboli. Stromboli could be the villian of a villian event. 2. Add in The Aristocats group. 3. Add in The Fox and the Hound group. 4. Add in Hunchback of Notre Dame group. 5. Add in Tarzan group. 6. Add in Brother Bear 1 & II group. 7. Cars characters too. And many more
I've only been playing two days. I find this game is the hardest to move to next level. I play a similar game called OZ its challenging but you can move up easier. I've never played something that takes forever to complete the first 5 levels. This makes me want to delete app.
The best tip I can give you is waiting to have 5 lives before opening the reward boxes so you can accumulate 8 or 10 lives if you get +3 or 5 lives inside. Also I started playing on January 2020 so just a little bit more than a year and I'm on level 466 =D That's how addictive I am ^^

I reached out to customer service and they said it was being addressed, but I had hoped it would be fixed by now. I’m just wondering if other people are experiencing the same thing?

It's kind of insane when you think about how many emojis there are. And there are too many events all back to back now. People are starting to go outside again and go places.

Best tip for newbies: pay attention to the hints provided while the game is loading. It will give you insight to the emoji's special power!
Collect and save coins. When you reach say, 500,000, you can try level up and max out emojis in different boxes.
